Think we will really turn up for this, a win would be superb, a draw absolutely fine but even a loss wouldn't be a disaster. Leeds and Norwich face each other in the next match whilst we host an absolutely wretched Bolton. So we have a chance to pull back any lost ground on one or both of them, should they draw.

It's a genuine big game, the biggest of the season so far in league positioning terms, and a pressure game. It will at least be interesting to see how the players approach and cope with it. It's the sort of game we've not won under Wilder so it'll be interesting to see if we've turned a corner. A win could be a huge springboard for the rest of the season.

Bolton at home in League one is the only comparable game I can think of which we won.

Went to a match at Norwich many years ago, a mini bus full of the finest Welsh and Bristol blades picked us up on the west side of London.

Remember when the game finished we were all in the full mini bus stuck in Norwich traffic when the local village idiot canary noticed we were utd and came up and banged on the rear doors of the mini bus shouting something like "come on yer sheffield barstools, I've have the lot of you".

There must have been about a dozen of us so the big lads at the back of the bus opened the rear doors and invited him in in a pleasant non threatening way to great amusement. This guy just stood there wondering what to do while we all roared with laughter as he realised it might not be such a good idea and just stood there in the middle of the road motionless wondering what to do next for a bit then walked off sheepishly.

It was obvious we'd take him for a 100 mile educational trip then tip him out in the middle of nowhere unharmed.
