We played well yesterday

We did play well in the first half and controlled the match despite not creating too much.

Second half we forgot everything we did in the first half and our plan B which was lump it to Washing Machine didn't work either. The second half highlighted our glaring lack of pace when we need to counter teams quickly to get ourselves back into a match.
I only saw the second half but we were lumping it in the air from the beginning of the half with hopeful balls to chase. The only difference when Madine came on was that the overhit passes were aimed at the box rather than down the wings or over the channels

I don’t really get some of the meltdowns I’ve seen on here since final whistle yesterday. Tin hat firmly on....

We dominated the first half of that game. They maybe came back into it just before half time but we created two really good chances and ran the show, particularly Fleck and Norwood.

We won almost every second ball all game. JOC was excellent and made some crucial interceptions.

They had a spell when they scored, but as a fanbase we seem to forget that this division is littered with very good players and sometimes they perform. It doesn’t make us rubbish when they do.

When we were losing, we dominated again, constantly got it forward and were unlucky not to get anything. Madine was particularly useful when he came on.

I just don’t think some people realise how lucky they are watching us every week. I doubt the players hear anything about this forum but if I were one of them and I’d seen what was written yesterday, I’d think we were ungrateful.

Sometimes even very good teams lose football matches. I enjoyed watching us still and even if you can’t accept the performance, that handball at the end was a penalty and the referee missed it.

Tin hat and body armour on: anyone who thinks that was “wank” simply doesn’t know anything about football.

The performance yesterday was utter shite. Same old, same old. Wilder and Knill cannot get this team to play and beat the better teams. He seems to have no plan B. Leeds, Swansea, Pigs and Rotherham have all sussed him out.

We may? get in the play offs but more like we'll fuck it up and look forward to a trip to Huddersfield next season eh lads?

I am totally fed up of working a 15 hour day to come and watch garbage like that on Sky. It was downright fucking boring. Thank Christ I didn't pay ££££££'s to go in person.

At best both teams largely cancelled each other out but Swansea deserved it as they looked marginally the more dangerous.

January looking good for Wilder. First time in over 100 years we've lost at home to a non league side and first time Swansea have done the double over us.

Not impressed. Wilder's Blades = Inconsistent Blades.

He'll need to win at L**ds, Norwich and WBA to rectify in my book. But hey. What do I know, I've only been following this grossly under achieving club for over 50 bastard years.

This made me laugh, but I'm not sure that was the intention!

Add into the equation that McFuckin Burnie was playing for them. Destined to be one of those who will always score against us.

This is either complete genius, or complete insanity. Love it.

Not sure what game you watched but we won very few second balls & the passing was consistently poor! This is not a meltdown just the facts, but JOC was fabulous or it could have been a heavier defeat!

Was going to reply to some of your points but assume you’re being sacrastic.
Don’t worry Wilder is the next Brian Clough. He’s taking us to the Champions League.

Hi mate. No I wasn't joking.

It was awful. As I said mid pissed off rant, at best both teams cancelled each other out. But honestly it sent me to sleep.

Match after match on tv we never look like scoring with those somewhat aimless crosses.

However, there is an important stat. This season if we are on tv more likely we will lose, certainly if it's the main match. Don't think we've won one yet other than Reading. Utter shite. I want a sky refund!! :)

No was serious. I just do joy and frustration with the Blades. We're just not good enough pal this season and that's it.
