He's seen a different game to me. I think Potter deserves more credit as well. They changes their system which nullified us to a degree.

I don't do predictions before games but the one thing I said to my Dad when we were talking before the game was "Potter will change it if it doesn't work, he's reyt good at that" and he did.

Didn't he change it and get a draw from 3 nil down the other week?

Bizarre interview from Wilder. He seems to suggest they just had one spell and moment to win it. They completely dominated 2nd half and with better finishing woudl have scored 4 or 5. Course he is right we should have led but does not really allude to us not winning any balls, 1st or 2nd, letting them run past us time after time and showing no desire to play higher up the field.

Twice Potter has changed things against us and twice he has sat back and done nothing. Love Wilder but he was poor today in not reacting and his post match interview is a bit baffling. We were really poor actually from minute 30. They had the best of the other 60 minutes and deservedly won the game. 1-0 was about right - in fact maybe 2-1 on the chances

Sharp’s missed opportunity gets worse the more times you see it, he really should be scoring that. McG’s was a tougher chance but again for me, he should be getting it in target. I love McG, but I reckon his chance conversion rate must be pretty low for chances vs goals scored/on target

Looks as though O'Connell is playing him onside to me. More times I watch it though the worse the defending looks. The corner is dealt with and the aftermath is a shambles. The ball goes out we are slow to react fair enough they get a little bit of luck after the ball has initially been cleared only to fall to there player and him some how come away with it despite a challenge from billy and also loosing his balance, but after that he plays a easy ball to his team mate to lift one straight over the top to dyer who is unmarked. Egan then has to pull away from the centre to mark him he then pulls it back to his team mate flecks the next to react to it but doesn't get close enough to put the player under any pressure or get a foot in, followed by a simple return pass and drags it across box for O'Connell then to miss a chance to get a foot on the cross for a easy tap in for mcburnie.
 



Bit of a strange interview really....

Opens by claiming it wasn't a close game and we only had "10 mins of it".

Closes by claiming we were the better side and dominated the game.

Seems a bit contradictory that's all. Mind you, having to give multiple interviews, you might run out of things to say and start talking utter bollocks from time to time.

I don't think Wilder is that bothered by this defeat so if he's happy fair enough.

I'll take 6th right now.
