Reckon it would be better Blades being on the bottom tier instead of the upper? Just watching the Leeds game now with both nets having home fans behind them and the atmosphere seems to be decent.
Also remember pigs doing it when Duffy shut them up ;)

What a silly idea, it's on par with us playing in blue n white that one?????

Worst possible idea for reasons above. BLUT is best view and acoustics in the ground. Sadly there are more corpses and non Blades fans in it than folk who want to get behind the team making it impossible to really give it some welly. Ricky tried and sadly wasnt backed enough.

I’d rather keep away fans in the BLLT as it adds to the atmosphere

Our atmosphere at the moment is terrible, apart from the Derby game. I just hope now we’re serious contenders we turn up in our numbers and get it rocking again.

I don’t want the loudest noise tomorrow to be Madine getting booed.

I’ve sat and stood in so many low rent no mark away places that I think we should seriously think about what we give away fans. The days of an end behind a goal are going. Shove em in some corner or somewhere we don’t want to be. We spoil em and as for Norwich a cage in the centre of the Kop would be fine....

so every team gives the away support the crappest seats in the house at the highest prices, and we do because they do etc.

this sort of tit for tat thinking does make me shed a lower tier.

How about we think about giving them half decent seats and actually fostering a bit of good will that grows and gets reciprocated at other stadiums for us?

We should give the away club the two blocks at the John St end of BLUT in addition to the lower tier when it's suitable to do so.

I do understand a spate of murders is likely to follow but I think it's worth a try.

Not been to an away game yet have you.
Try Millwall, Scabs, Scum, Brum, and countless others. Cuddle them, smile and say" Football friends"

Let us know how it all goes when you're discharged from hospital.

£35 for a corner view at Carrow Road with Delia’s dreadful deceitful dirty pies at over the odds prices... mmmm... maybe the expectation should be altered when they come to the Lane.

All for good will but for some teams it will never be reciprocated. That death trap shed in Ipswich (just waiting for a major incident), Wolves and can’t see owt sideways view, Derby’s corner of fun, Forests lower tier of piss and pie showering.. I could go on but as I say just some thought for those games we can sell out...use both tiers and shove the away fans somewhere...

Just a thought..

Last time I bothered trying to tot them up, I think I'd been to 70 odd away grounds.

I very often sit with the home fans and rarely try to disguise who I support. I usually have a chat with whoever I end up sitting next to, nearly always friendly - slight bother once or twice, Wednesday, Newcastle, though hardly ever IN the ground usually outside it, nought tragic.

Go in and act scared, result attract trouble ... have you never watched a David Attenborough programme?

Yes.
I've also wandered around Harlem when it was cheeky, Soweto and a good number of other interesting spots.
Going in a home stand at an away game isn't really an issue unless you go mental when we score which I bet you certainly don't.
Anyway you're a Cyborg so being twatted isn't much of an issue is it.

I don't see what point you are trying to make Bill Johnson.

You suggested I'd never been to an away match, I contradicted you - what have Harlem and Soweto got to do with the thread, which is about seats at Bramall Lane?

The point is screamingly obvious.
I've used examples of alien and potentially dangerous environments to illustrate my familiarity with same.
It's a bit like you blathering on about cosying up to folk in their own backyards at football grounds only way more interesting.
In case you have issues with short term memory retention I suggest you 're read your posts which wander off seats at the Lane very quickly.to bumble on about minor issues here and there.
Ever thought it's no surprise given your sat in their back yard and more than likely contravened ground rules in so doing.
Anyway you carry on with your mission to change a century of football tribalism.
Have a pop at stopping the tide coming in. You'll have more success.
And you won't get what I suspect will inevitably be a slap somewhere or other in the home stand at an away ground.

Don’t forest have the same measures that we do (first couple of rows netted of and a safety netting above the seats)? I’ve only been once and didn’t witness anything but I was quite far back.

On the BLUT, I was on there when we played Wendy in the 3-2 Blackwell game. Afterwards there were accusations of us raining down bottles of piss. Utter garbage. One man threw a beer on onthe pitch when they scored. An act of anger at the goal rather than trying to hit a Wendy. Apart from that I didn’t see anything. Unless you go right to the front and lean over it’s an impossible task.

In reference to the OP, if the lower tier was home fans then I think you would find that no one would choose to sit there because it’s shit.

Wolves is an absolute shocker but for them it's a perfect setup.
Been there a few times and the away end atmosphere has never been able to get going. I do recall going to the Molineux in about 2002 and we had a third of the stand behind the goal. Much better and I think we won there (for a change).

why all the abuse - what a cretinous direction to take a conversation. Suggesting I'm breaking the rules by sitting where I want to sit in a stadium, utter rubbish go away. Its pathetic to say I'll get slapped by a supporter of the opposition - I haven't yet. Your existence must be primitive indeed for such an uncivilised outlook, that you can't behave yourself for 2 hours in the presence of people from the next town down the road. Sorry mate, I'm bright enough and friendly enough to get on with people .. I feel sorry for you and your limited horizons.

We won 1-3 if it's the game I'm thinking of .About 5 mins from time some of their so called lads came into the away end attacking all in sight ...It was the same season we went to Cardiff for p/o final ...

That's the one!

I'd like to see both upper and lower level full of Blades fans :)
