I might have missed this in the recent meltdowns on here but has it been confirmed that this waste of a wage has gone back to Liverpool? Presumably he features in their title run in so they need him urgently.

I’ve been told that he has gone back, but as of yet it’s not been officially announced I don’t think.

Thought Wilder had brought our Gaz in to chin yesterdays starting 11??

Intriguing, I've heard pretty good reports about his attitude & commitment. Just couldn't cut it skill/impact wise. Injured now of course. That injury being managed by Liverpool.

Intriguing.
I haven't heard any of that.
I did however see absolutely no evidence of it whatsoever having witnessed first hand every monumentally forgettable minute of his performances on the pitch.
Funny old game eh.

to bed?

I dunno, maybe. It's dull being on the bench.

He’s started one game and made 6 small cameos, do you give anyone at all a chance Bill? You’d have them in and out quicker than sunjihi and Richard Cadettes’ in the know posts. :)

Glad you corrected him Phil, too many fans on here just presume every player who doesn't succeed at United and is talented has a terrible attitude and then state it on sites like this as a fact.

No number for him on yesterday’s programme. And also included in the “also played” section of the stats page. He’s gone. Won’t be missed.

Somethings gone on because by all accounts from my Liverpool nuts work colleague he’s on the transfer list at Liverpool

Nothing like a good bit of vitriol in the morning.

He's not played that many minutes has he so he's a waste of a wage. He's not the only one but he's the only one we can bin off easily this month as long as we have the relevant clause in the deal.

I suppose, objectively speaking, you're right - his wages could have potentially been spent better elsewhere.

I still couldnt refer to him as a waste of a wage though - seems a bit harsh.

Really? Doesn’t seem he’s out of favour, though may head elsewhere on loan.

Liverpool have high hopes for the teenager, with Klopp recently saying: “Ben is still an unbelievably young boy.

“We will never lose him or think: ‘He is not doing well enough in Sheffield.’

“It’s normal. He wanted it – he wanted to come into a situation where he had to prove himself somewhere else.”

Yet The Sun say Klopp is preparing to cut Woodburn loose.

It is said he will be allowed to find a new club having toiled during his time at Sheffield United.

He is currently back on Merseyside for treatment on an ankle injury.
