Know you know how Arabella Weirs "Invisible Woman" character felt in the Fast Show!
Every other police force in the country that deals with big rival football matches can cope.
Yet ours can’t.
Joke of an organization.
I know people who travel from afar for games, as will many of you. People having to book 2 days off work to make the game. Finishing work at 5 to make the game in rush hour, in Hillsborough - ha!!
I know we don’t like the bloke but Mick the pig on RS nailed it when he said that SYP are happy enough to allow 30,000 supporters onto the streets of Sheffield on a Friday night into streets already busy with other folk enjoying their Friday evening and police already present. Yet they don’t want a weekend fixture with the same amount of people with the same amount of police. Wether it be a Saturday 3pm or Monday 7:45 the game will sell out. What is their problem?
They won’t liaise with fans at all. The decision is made. It’s a cop-out. Useless.
I think us and Wednesday are in agreement that SYP are utter shite.
Can the two clubs decide that we don't want the fuckers and have our games on at normal, minimally disruptive times?
SYP already get above going rate from us don't they? They make a profit on policing our games yet the money only gets us this shite.
We should put a tender out. Any police force can apply.
