We once had Evans and had a very very long thread on this forum about Morsy.

I for one, wanted Morsy at our club. But our midfield is far too good for them. Far too good. Thankful for where we are at at the moment

They have a group on the side stand next to the away fans who try to make some noise..... then absolutely nothing at all behind the only goal - it's basically empty. It's a ridiculous setup. They surrender any bit of vocal support they might be able to muster, certainly any advantage from it.

Even if you don't know our exact formation, I'm surprised at how often 442 comes up in view froms, I mean there must be a 5 in there somewhere, even if you can't decide between 352 and 532.

Wigan will be reyt, think if the owner gets a bit worried and sacks Cook it could get dangerous towards the end of the season but if they improve in defence in January they'll start climbing.

Not entirely sure what the drummer hoped to achieve by keeping our beat for ‘your support is fucking shit’, but then, I’ve never understood those types.

Good win against an odd club. Their stadium is too big for them. They are a L1/L2 club with an amazing owner who's given them huge success. But still no fans

I was at an ice hockey match in Munich and there were more fans with drums than without them. I thought I was at some kind of wierd winter band practice.

Some condescension there. Amazing to think they would get Fleck and Norwood over us. Basically a Rugby League team that punched above their weight for a long time with an owner with big pockets.

Some of them mentioning their recruitment, how its miles behind ours and that that was being the difference, yet they had Morsy and Evans in their midfield. Their recruitment is not far off ours. It's their tactics, support, work ethic ect. are the things they need to improve

"We can say all we want about the opposition but look at what a mess Sheffield were in 3 years ago when they were mid table in L1. They hired a lower league manager and their current squad is made up of a lot of players we could’ve potentially / realistically had on a free or for cheap over the past few years so they aren’t like a Villa or West Brom with Prem players and parachute money we can’t compete with. Sheffield just have a good positive system that plays to their strengths and they’ve recruited smartly in exactly what they needed in every position to make it all work. They aren’t a crazy expensive team filled with big name super stars we could never have hoped to get here, they are just a great example of what a club like ours can aspire to if we can get it right – especially on tge recruitment front. Easier said than done but it is proof that you don’t have to spend a kings ransom finding good players who can compete at this level if you have a good eye for talent.”
