Yay, another play-off final, a 14hr day that costs £500 and includes a 3hr journey home with severe depression in silence.
Can't wait!:(

The last 2 results have been hugely significant for a number of reasons -

-Overcoming adversity and bad luck to win, and in style
-Demonstrating real bottle and character
-The Lane feeling like a proper fortress again, which it did at times during the promotion season

Add to that Norwich and Leeds both dropping points and others around us being a bit inconsistent then it is up for grabs.

Something is stirring, and it isn't just my bowels.

If it could stay that way we'd seriously have a serious chance. But it won't.

But imagine we win at Wembley. Surrounded by 35,000 Blades, watching Wilder and Billy holding the play off trophy above their heads in front of crowd that many of them have seen the disappointment play off final defeats to Palace, Wolves, Burnley and Huddersfield as well as semi final defeats to pigs, Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool and Spurs. 9 times the bridesmaid perhaps its 10th time lucky for us. The one I don't go to we win I couldn't risk that.

Fuck its me I'm a bad omen, omg should I miss if we get there for the greater good. I'm a jinx, it's all my fault. Hang on a minute it's not just me, I'm sure there are lots of others in the same position. It's your fault if we get to the play off final I hope you are going to fall on your sword and stay at home, then I can go if we get there.

We need automatic promotion I can cope with all that again, please please please Blades don't finish between 3rd and 6th some of us just can't cope with these winner takes all matches.

I've vowed after the last play-off final, never to set foot inside Wembley stadium ever again to witness a Blades play-off final. No wins, not even a goal. Journey home is just so shit

I also know tho that should we get there ever again, I'll be there. It's in the blood ffs

I’ve been saying the same. Belief and confidence plays such a big role in improving performance.

The in match events during the Derby and Blackburn gave us a massive test of character
And the players came through it with flying colours. The timing is perfect because after the Leeds and West Brom home defeats our fans (and maybe even the players) were beginning to think we can beat all the bottom half teams but don’t have the quality to beat any promotion contenders. Maybe the play-offs was unrealistic and we were bound for an upper mid table finish instead.
There’s also been question marks about our old attack but both Sharp and McGoldrick have been impressive in the last 2 games.

Feeling really upbeat and optimistic after the last 2 games.

I've kept this quiet but i actually had a dream before the season started that we beat Villa in the play off final 2-1.

Ok, Shipperley scored the winner but the rest of it was so vivid it just felt real. Somebody archive this in case it happens.

All those who are dreading a play-off final need to grow up. Can't win, can't score, don't turn up etc, its a load of bollocks. Its not a jinx or anything, its because we played fucking crap. We would win under Wilder, end of.
