It's not about being able to afford it, look at the last few years and who has gone up through the play offs....

Hull
Stoke
Watford
Burnley
Derby

we can't afford it but as

Hull
Stoke
Watford
Burnley
Derby

all proved it can be done on a budget and its all about team work and not individuals
if we can stay intouch with the big boys like Newcastle WBA and Boro and be in the mix at the end then who knows.

but at the minute our squad is way too small and 1 or 2 more injuries and we will drop off the pace.

Couple of home wins and we are right back in it. We've dropped slack points, but they were in away games. I've no doubt our awy record will be good again this year, but it's our home form that will really tell. I'm still fairly positive about the season, but fully expect us to beat Ipswich and Donny!

Forget it we can't afford it. :(

Chuffin el! I'm agreeing with BB again, someone pass me the crack pipe!

I said at the start of the season that 6th would be the best we could do this year. Financially we can't compete with the 3 that came down. Add to that that we have a smaller squad, i'll be happy with Play offs

But, look back to the season we went up we didn't go mad on the spending until we were almost assured of promotion...

And at the end of the day we could finish 6th and still go up, so why push ourselves for 3rd.

Lets save ourselves for the play off final and go for 6th! :D

christ knows what this forum will be like if we finish 7th

Another play-off defeat is not something I want again. As fun as it is doing naff all for 2 hours prior to the match in the shithole that is the area of Wembley in baking hot weather to eventually watch us bottle it.

Forget the play-offs for us we either aim for automatic or nothing and we cant aim for automatic because we haven't got the quality or the £££'s this time round.

i can cope with the squad being thin and the team sometimes not being good enough
but im really finding it hard to deal with the negativity from supporters over the last few years
really making me think about just chucking it all in ,im definetly not going tonight just cant stand the thought of spendin £20-£25 to be surrounded by misery arse suicide cases who dont really seem to want to be there anyway

fuck it ,i'll listen on the radio with out the miserable so and so's
