And so to the FA Cup...

My favourite away song of that season, to Adkins' team, was '''Football League, you're having a laugh", from your fans.
My brother, who was also there, texted me after ten minutes, saying "they're better than us."

Haha pretty funny really, was better when we sang that at Coventry and the 99% of their fans were all sour grapes (the fellas with those big hats and long scarves being the exceptions!)... but at BDTBL, we didnt do too badly until conceding the penalty and then ran out of steam the last 10 minutes, might've been a slightly different story had we not had our two most potent threats suspended (Sean Geddes and Lee Hughes being his usual pest up top).

But time has moved on significantly since then...in lots of good ways for the Blades, the whole ethos and atmosphere is a world away from the one under Adkins, and Worcester have dropped down 3 levels which is lowlier than when they first began back in 1902...all very humbling.

Away, but close enough to make it a good trip. Somewhere where there is good beer and food. Somewhere we are likely to win without too much effort and to lose would be no disgrace. Don't suppose Barcelona are in this are they?

It's going to be a Premier Lge team this time for sure.
Nailed on defeat at Bournemouth away, Brookes to score a couple of worldies.
Fooooookinell. Could you imagine the meltdown on here?!! :D

No meltdown as yet but that superfluous "e"
pisses me off.

I somehow predicted our R4 & R5 opponents last season, so no prediction this time.
All I will say is we're probably due a "banana skin" away tie.

Woking away. I’d love a trip to Everton or Liverpool though.
It’ll be a banana skin shite away draw??.

That Radford goal comes out every 3rd round draw , just like Santa comes out every year !

That's the wankest of wank draws

Why? Opportunity to play some kids for first team experience, opportunity to play players on the 'edge' of the first team and all against a side who I don't believe weve ever played before.

Sounds alright to me. At least it's not someone like fucking Reading or Blackpool.

They'll bring a decent following at least. Fancied a good away day but oh well.

Pigs at home same tie. Who'll get moved to the Sunday? I'll give you three guesses...

Barnet and Luton. Surely pc plod can cope with those on the same day.

We'd probably be playing fringe players against 80% of the teams we could have faced though. I suppose at least it's not someone from this division

Theres me expecting usual dull FA Cup tie like ipswich away or Preston home & im excited for barnet at home. Always special to play a non league in FA cup. Theyll always bring noise, i enjoyed Worcester at home played in great spirit. Did breathe a sigh of relief when 32 & 33 got man utd & man city

Hopefully it stays on a saturday
