Freddie Sears at Colchester would be a good signing and would score goals

He's was massively championed when he first came onto the scene at West Ham. They talked about like he was going to be the greatest player in the country for years to come. Product of the 'famous West Ham academy'. This made me instantly despise him. Unfortunately for him he has failed to live up to his top billing, hence ending up at Colchester. I admit that his record there is not too bad but he's done sod all elsewhere. Not one for me.

Would be a suitable player for us with his work rate and versatility. Can be a threat running with the ball too so I wouldn't mind if this was true.

It could indicate that we're shopping in the bargain bin though - his contract ends next summer.

Score a few recently in a very poor Ipswich team. Ben Bloom on YouTube has been highlighting how good his finishing has been too.

I could see Ipswich driving a hard bargain though, seen as though they are in the poop now and likely to be worse come January. They will need him.

Edit: Just seen Ricky's post and didn't realise his contract was up next year, which would help us a bit.

Ipswich got there first home win under Lambert against Wigan....................so glad they did.
