Rotherham are a poor side, Wilder is right to be disappointed. I am sure he will take time to reflect why a team with promotion ambitions were unable to beat the likes of them today. Though having said that, we drew against a worse side last time our and that was at home.

I think we all know what we want to stop happening, and can also spot utterly inane comments like “stop it happening”.

Although saying that, CW needs to get better at his substitutions. Making defensive subs in a tight game back fired against Stoke and again today. Hopefully he learns from this.

I said we’d 14th at the start of the season so can’t complain really with what the manager is doing.

The board is a different matter...
 
How dare we get a point away from home in the Championship, what a set of useless tossers, I'm sick of Wilder understanding but not changing anything.

We dont deserve success sometimes, we certainly don't deserve wilder with some of these comments. Yes we were shit but how often do we actually say that!?

Like last season, we've had a good run and it's shifted expectation. I remember some saying they'd be disappointed if we didn't finish top two, well we know how that panned out. I think it's the same this season, despite how the early season league table looked, we've never been in contention for automatic. Like you, I think we'll finish mid-table.

I thought I made it pretty clear I was talking about how demotivated we look in these circumstances, I.e winnable game ,players well rested ,chance to go top or near top = piss poor demotivated performance

As for your second paragraph ,leave it for the politics threads lad

What I don’t really understand is that Wilder sees we were poor, sees a load of players playing poorly, but again didn’t really seek to change the personnel for almost the entirety of the game. We bring Clarke on for McGoldrick (when there were probably 4 or 5 players worse than him at that point) and use the other two in the dying minutes of the game (one with catastrophic consequences). I agree with his interview, but don’t understand why we didn’t haul off two of our poorest players after an hour. Having too many poor performances to decide who to bring off is not a legit excuse...

Absolutely spot on, Freeman and Norwoods worst games for a while. Wilder has earned his reputation but it doesn’t mean he can’t be criticised. They needed hooking today
 
As up for it as Rotherham were today, we were equally if not more awful. We made them look better. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I have very little idea about their squad or who anyone really is.

That's the worst I've seen us this season, could barely string two passes together.
 
Oh and for the record, their captain is right little whingey shitehouse prick.

Though as the Pigs have spent 50 million plus and have managed 1 point from 18, maybe throwing money at a 'problem' is not necessarily the answer.

If we were to be promoted 1 point from 18 might be our run of results then 'we' will all clamour for Wilder to be sacked.

When you see smoke and smell burning - flip it - easy.

On the other hand managing 11 people to all play at the top of their game at the same time, without getting them to sulk or deflate their ego's.
Remember most are from a division below.

Rotherham were up for it today as we were at the Pig Pen last season.

8 of our players were away on international duty where Rotherham had ? away.

Its about time then that our team was up for it when we play the likes of Rotherham. I hope Leeds aren't up for it next week. What a crap excuse.
 
Good interview, better than the one after the pig game, but I think he respects any team that get up and at us.

Changes ? What changes ? He’s doing the best he can with limited resources. We needed to freshen it up and bring on someone to add more of a threat:

Baldock
Clarke
Coutts
Stearman
Johnson
Washington

In hindsight, Coutts for Norwood and Baldock for Freeman. Does that improve us really ?

Baldock for Freeman probably would have because KF was dire today. Jordan Stewart dire.

He assisted the 2nd though ;). Agree he should have been hooked though but I doubt it would have changed the game much
 
When we play well we give the praise. Why is it when we dont play well we aren't allowed to criticise?
I understand why people say ' look how far we've come' etc, but surely if we can dish out praise then the opposite is also acceptable.
Wilder admitted we were crap, so no fan can be criticised for saying the same.
 
How many times are we going to wax lyrical about a post match slagging from Wilder? TBH i'm bored of it now, sort it Chris you can't keep telling us how it was, we fucking know. Change something please.
