Wife cane to her first match of the year today. Nearly got caught up in a fight at the top of gangway B at half-time on the Kop. Fucking idiots

Friday night matches lead to this I believe. There was a bit of swaying going on around me.
I heard quite a few had been out from 12.30!

Nearly kicked off in the Westfield as well...some tosser shouting the odds and offering a young lad out....proper pissed up... didn't return for second half!

Was walking through the aggro on Bramall Lane before the game. Some bloke was on the floor with blood coming out his head onto the road. Anyone know if he was alright?

Been out since early afternoon and didn't see any trouble at all.

We were in the back of the Kop on G and people kept piling into the back when it was clear there were too many people there already, resulting in several rows of people constantly ending up 3 or 4 rows further down that they were stood as people tried to squeeze in.

Bit of shouting and there was a little bit of "sorry mate, it's all full here, go stand elsewhere", but no punches thrown.

Honestly didn't see any agro all day/night!

Hey, comments like that don’t get a reaction.

At half-time I went up the stairs at gangway G in the Kop. It was a real bottle neck up there with the crowd not moving, was trapped for 10 minutes, couldn’t go up and couldn’t go back down the steps.
Saw someone go along the rows heading towards gangway F, followed him, great idea as gangway F was much easier to move up and down. Went to the bogs and there was a massive queue there too.
The facilities and gangway areas just aren’t designed for a full capacity Kop.
The lad I was with said it was much better to move around when our gates were 19K in league 1.

Only "excitement" we had all day was a dick bouncer in the Washington. As we were going in my lad (a teenager) was wearing a scarf. The bouncer said "sorry mate, no colours", so my lad took his scarf off and put it in his pocket with a very polite "sorry, no problem", and as we walked in the bouncer said "and if I see you wearing that inside I'll be dragging you out".

TBH, we found it highly amusing!

Oh I do love a good old bit of Blade on Blade action....

That chaos on the Kop at half time further highlighted why the bastard thing needs rebuilding.

Wendy fan I know was queuing to get in away end when his mate next to him caught a full can of lager over the head. The hatred seems to be escalating.

We came down from London road to find a police cordon at the end of the street, few plastic glasses thrown at the pigs as they walked past but no real violence, the only problems outside the ground were of the polices making..

Redesign, rebuild, safe standing or whatever... but unless people stand/ sit where they’re supposed to and the stewards do their jobs properly you’ll always have these issues

The Stewards I spoke to refused to clear the gangways. If that happens again then the police need to do their job

The "early leavers" (bastards) all stooped at the exit blocking seated suporters view of th final free kick. Not a steward in sight.

At least two tins of lager thrown plus some sort of firework/smoke bomb. It was an extremely aggressive and dangerous situation on Bramall Lane.
