Imagine how embarrassed and indeed ashamed you’ve be if you had paid to watch that shower of blue and white shit on a regular basis. Fuck me, they are bloody dismal. I’ve seen more effort and enthusiasm from a dog eating it’s own vomit.
Hopefully we won’t be seeing them at the Lane for a long, long time.

I’m more embarrassed by the fact that we failed to beat the worst team to visit Bramall Lane for years.

I am also pissed off and more than a little concerned. For once, Wednesday fans were right that they were there for the taking and we fucking blew it!!

And obviously that's never ever happened to any other team before in the entire history of football
(Did we have to rely on a last-minute wonder save to hang on to a point this season?)

What the hell are you on about , they won 0-0 !!!

I doubt they’ve played with that many behind the ball all season. Jos needed a result no matter how he got it. Just glad we never set up that way. My S6 mate text at full time to say we embarrassed them badly and gave them a footballing lesson

It doesn’t happen very often that a team as shit as they were gets something at a team with promotion aspirations.

They were fucking awful and we couldn’t beat them. It’s not even as if their keeper pulled off a string of worldies, he didn’t have to.

We can't get past a wall of defenders, it happens every time a team with little ambition turn up, we struggle to break them down.
The players deserve praise in the way they approach games, their always trying to get forward and every one of them always wants the ball, nobody hides.

The problem is their decision making, it goes wide when it should go forward, it goes forward when it should go wide, it comes back for another string of passes when a cross should have come in, a cross comes in when it's not on and possession should be retained.
Decision making is wrong so often at crucial times.

I've looked at the bbc website and some neutrals on there like "ASTON VILLA" fans are taking the piss out of us...……...YES!!!!!!! ASTON FUCKING VILLA FANS.

The pigs seem to be under the impression that we will fade away like we "ALWAYS" do...…………...ALWAYS DO ??????????

The fans of two clubs who either get promoted or they're fucked don't seem to understand that United are still building and it isn't the end of the world if we don't go up

Fri 28th Sept - Sheffield Wednesday 1 - Leeds United 1
Tue 23rd October - Middlesbrough 1 - Rotherham Utd 1

They are going down on that performance.

All the people around me said they looked like a relegation team fighting for their lives.
They defended and battled well so deserve credit but had no ambition to get forward.
They stank the place out and won’t have impressed Sky with such negativity.

But in the great scheme of things they scored as many as we did and we missed a penalty, Perhaps we should be looking at why with total dominated (up to penalty area) their shit keeper didn't make anything other than regulation saves.

They have every right to be embarrassed. Sparks was like a nervous wreck in the dugout rocking back and forth during that second half. At least the sheer gulf in class was evident for all to see this time. No pig can deny that now.

Pigs fought like beavers there. Thoroughly deserved the point. Given the possession we had we should have mullered them.

The only things that I thought were embarrassing this evening:

– the fact the majority of the crowd hadn’t a fucking clue about how to respond to The Last Post, with Gary Sinclair having to actually have to plead over the mike with his shushing.
– Sinclair’s attempt to inform us of the exit arrangements when we’re in the middle of an attack
– the guy two seats down from me, who in hearing my reaction to the MOTM nominees being “Norwood for me” decided to reply with “nah mate, Norwood’s been shit.”

Best moment of the night: as Sinclair asked the question in his interview at half-time “So what benefits would the Rugby League World Cup bring to Sheffield”, a guy sat in the row in front, arms crossed, bellowed out “Fuck All!”

Completely agree on that. I know it's easy to call it from the stands / TV /whatever but this has been our problem for a while. We normally have enough to get past it but stubborn defensive teams often nullify us because of it.

Wednesdays best team of the modern era, 91/92. We fucked them over twice, 5-1 over the two games. We were massive underdogs and put in 2 massive, attacking performances l. That was something to be proud of.

Today was a relegation team nicking a point against a superior side through a combination of effort, luck and poor execution from us. Nothing for them to be proud of

The way Wednesday played last night is as a direct consequence of what happened against Norwich a week ago.

My brother-in-law, and other Blades in attendance at that match last Saturday, all called it correctly when they feared that it would force Jos to change tactics to save his job, and thus reduce United's chances of winning the derby. "I knew this would effing happen!", he bellowed.

It wasn't just about the number of defensive players the Owls had on the pitch either, it was also about the way they defended. It was back to basics, with the emphasis on the word basic. Gone was the tipping, tapping, dallying and dribbling in and around their own penalty area so much in evidence against Norwich. It was kick it, head it, hoof it and leather it. Get rid of it, lad.

Ive seen you post a couple of times on here and you talk a lot of sense, let’s hope it stays that way and that other blades play nice or that you just ignore them.

With that in mind this is a genuine question, do you think weds could go down this season? Because that team that played here yesterday was the worst team I’ve seen play here in the last three seasons, I know you came for a point and the manager wanted to keep his job but personally I wonder weather many of your fans would have been happier to lose and get him out..

This guy is nailed on to take you down with his approach to football either this season or the next.

The 0-0 score line has only one positive for us as, and that is that jos keeps his job.

(Your keeper did well btw)
