For what they are worth is that tomorrow night will be a tight, nerve wracking and often explosive affair, even some Pigs are now starting to think more positively than they were earlier in the week.....lets look at some of the factors;

* Wednesday had chances against Norwich and from what I heard it wasn't a 0-4 game
* We put 4 past Wigan but that wasn't as convincing as the scoreline suggests, we then lose at Forest despite largely controlling the game
* It is going to be pissing down tomorrow night and blowing a hard wind, this will be a leveler. We won't, (or can't) change our style of play but a slick surface will suit our fast passing style, however, Wednesday are bound to go more industrial and I can see them putting Fletcher and Nuhiu up top and bombarding the box
* Forestieri and Matias are likely to be fit for them so they cannot blame injuries

I can see it being everything a Sheffield derby should be, blood and thunder, hard tackles, maybe a red card, heart in mouth moments....etc....

The BIG difference for me will be the Managers. CW is obviously one of our own but he needs to be careful, we can't get too wound up but on the same hand he will leave them in no doubt that failure is not an option. Sparks on the other hand is on the brink.....lose and he may well be out of a job on Saturday morning but does he care enough, do the Wednesday players have that same togetherness, that all for one and one for all attitude that we have? If Jos has lost the dressing room and split the camp, (as some suggest) then what better way to get rid of him than not turning up against your bitter rivals?

Either way I cannot wait....bring it on COYRAWW.

I don't expect anything other than what they did last season at our place, he'll more than likely lose his job if they get pasted so they'll be camped in their own area I suspect. An early goal for us is vital otherwise it could be a long night, having said that, we're a confident team and will go for them from the off and I just think we should have too much for them at this moment in time.

Torrix1889 I think you're opening statement is spot on. I'd be really surprised if they turn up and roll over (like their fans already have done).

Its the worst of timing for them, but also the best of timing, because they're no longer expected to get anything.

Factor in weather and conditions, if the wind is up then dirty Long balls from them and lovely cross field balls into the channels from us will be off the cards

I don't think the managers will be a difference until half time. They could both have changes to make. A Bannan or Fleck poor tackle getting carded, Pelupessy getting robbed in midfield. Reach smashing another Screamer

I think we need to do one thing that we don't do enough of, hitting the ball from distance, rightly so at times, but i think Friday is set up for it, Dawson is crap... saying that, so is their back 4

Last season they came for the draw, new manager and didn't want to lose. We didn't commit either, we looked worried of conceding so never went full out and it was a shit 0-0 draw. I can see the same happening again. But if their defence is really as bad as it looks on stats then we could walk it.

But were are not that great at home either only one game I can remember that I have seen us properly deserve a win.

Who knows.

It will be a scoring draw and they will love it. We will gift them a goal at some point.

As Bollo would say:

I doubt very much Dawson will be playing, will be Westwood i'm sure

I've been awake since 5.30am thinking of every possible scenario tomorrow and it's made me even more nervous.

I don't think I'll sleep tonight.

Nope.....

For footballing reasons
Or out of form
or injury

Depends what mood jos is in really.

Apparently the same with Hutchinson.

Seems a bit odd, but putting 2+2 together i'm assuming that its contract and performance bonus related which might take them over FFP

There's the daft theory going around that the pigs won't be up for it like our lot and Josh won't be as keen as Wilder. Nonsense, they're all pros and know what's at stake so they will be all blood and guts. They have one remaining problem though; they aint fucking good enough. So we'll win but it will be the Bladesway - 70% possession, 20 shots and 1 goal, hanging on at the end. Oh, and it will be Billy who does it.

It’s strange, at work this week on Monday I would say most Blades were confident and the piggy’s very quiet.

As the weeks gone on there seems to have been a bit of a change a lot of Blades now nervous, muttering about things like weather and indifferent home performances whilst the piggy’s seem a little more boyant talking about nothing to lose and the name Forestieri on their lips.

I wIsh the game would just get here now.

Thing is that you just never know, so its natural to go on the defensive a bit.

Bookies seem to be pointing towards us, but that could also be down to the amount of money they saw going our way. The odds for a Wednesday win are really high though

Wilder want to warn all 11 of the fuckers starting ........

Anyone who doesn't get a shot off in the game, gets 20 laps of the pitch after the game, including Hendo :)

Pigs are Pigs. Changing opinions by the minute. Are there really that many Blades more nervous than a week ago?

Last point, bang on.
