Doesn’t help that he gets thrown on when everyone else around him is having a bad day at the office. He’s a young player who has the potential to be a good player and for that reason we can’t expect him to be a game changer. The fact that Wilder seems to try and use him as such isn’t helping us or him.

Can’t comment on what Woodburn is like in training or his attitude...but he’s had about 10 minutes game time this afternoon. I’m not sure he deserves the vitriol given the limited time he’s had to prove himself.

Funny that a lot of our senior players were average for 90 minutes today after regular football and years of experience and they don't get a bashing thread.

Had 10 minutes to drag us uphill and didn't quite do it.

We probably can't afford to chuck him in from the start and give him game time, but it's stupid to write him off. 30 games left plus the FA Cup, hopefully he'll get up to speed in the cup games if not before.

He offers the potential to offer something. It's not much but our best players are already on the pitch, so that's something when you're looking at our bench at the moment.

Although to be fair, I'd swap him for Wilson in January if we could haha
