"Chelping"????

That's a new word for me. Chirping or crying - well there you go, every day's a school day.

“Play our first eleven and we’ll win, but we’re at home so the negative crowd will transpire to a loss, so that probably means a draw, which will mean we’re about 10th, which is promotion this season but last season was relegation.”

I see spice is now a problem in Nottingham too then.

Wonder if there will be a minutes silence for the Leicester tragedy and how well that would go down with them ?

Relegated for finishing 10th last season. Promotion is 10th place? We're miles off promotion then. Balls

Intelligent scab jokes? Why? I love it when our teenage fans shout scab, scab, scab, thinking it's to do with cut knees and elbows

“Got to be beating teams like this at home”

“”Teams like this”? They’re top of the league!”

“They’re crap, they have Billy Sharp up front FFS”

This is a classic football forum exchange, idiocy followed by incredulity followed by more idiocy.

“Sheff Utd fans wanted rid of Sharp at the start of the season.
Reality is, we’re all fucking idiots aren’t we”

Well one of us did didn’t he?

Smash the piggy bastards, do it for Desmond Sinclair Walker!”

Pitsmoor has more time on his hands than I realised.

Be combined with the Armistice commemorations I should think so should go off without a problem.

What a whopper. Teams like this???? The best team in the championship according to the league.

I've seen Forest play this season (I live here) and I can confirm we are MUCH better than them. Be a tough game don't get me wrong, but we should do em.

Very magnanimous.
Why anyone would expect fawning praise from an upcoming rival is a clueless fuckwit.

Mixed views, the odd comment that reminds me of the pigs,

The last one gave himself away:

Smash the piggy bastards, do it for Desmond Sinclair Walker!”

Would that be Desmond Sinclair Walker of the "You'll never beat des Walker" fame?

IIRC that ill fated song was proven a bit wrong in the 2003 play off semi ('Pesch') game.

Smash the scabs!

cheers Roy

a conversation between a typical Forest Fan and their carer no doubt ! ....................

“I think everyone is aware this will be a tough one.
Sheff Utd have a style that I think is unmatched in this league. Leeds perhaps try and play a similar way albeit in a different formation.
They play 3-5-2 but their CB’s often overlap and join in with attacks. So you can find yourself hemmed in under a lot of pressure.
Key is when you get the ball, you get it in behind quickly. When they have the ball, the DM’s need to be very efficient at blocking and picking pockets.
They do concede goals however, and if we can be resilient, we can do them. They are not unbeatable. It’s just vital that when they have their spells, we stay strong because we can punish them.”

Pretty fair assessment of our strengths and weaknesses, that. More and more we're encountering opposition fans who know what we're about and appreciate it.

Praying we smash these. But il say, 3rd draw of the season.......said that for Wigan and left a happy boy!!!

Every man and his dog knows how we play - Sky are always describing it in detail. The issue other sides seem to have is stopping it.

That said, the poster you quoted is spot on, pacey wingers (Montero day 1) have us in trouble when the ball is conceded and they ping it into the corners. 2nd goal against Wigan was exactly the same, just a punt down the line towards the corner.
