Mr Kenny is thirty‐one years of age. He told us about his anti‐doping education. He has been tested before, both at club level and when representing his country. He is a seasoned player, eleven years professional experience and a capped international. At the start of the 2008‐2009 season the SUFC players received a visit from Ms Fitzgerald. She addressed them in the gym at the end of a training session. He agreed he and the other players were provided with doping control advisory cards/leaflets which set out in detail examples of prohibited substances, permitted medication and outline therapeutic use exemptions and supplements. He told us that the said cards/leaflets were simply left; as he put it, “people don’t read them”. He opined that the players seemed more interested because (as he put it) a “woman turned up”.

lololol get in there Blades!

It doesn't make great reading. Even Kenny's own QC gave up on one of his defences by the end of the hearing.

I don't understand one of the comments though.

The 9 month ban started from when the pre-season games started, so that the ban is meaningful. However didn't Bendtner's ban of 3 month include the close season?[/QUOTE]

Yep but Bendter was banned by WBA, not the FA. Technically I don't think he broke any FA rules.

It eould appear that Paddy is indeed as bright as we thought in the brains department, if you have had a 'lecturel and been given information at the start of the season and admit you didnt read it, where does the blame lie?

Classic Quote

"Mr Blackwell expressed himself in colourful terms when speaking about the Player’s level of understanding, "

Make up your own interpretation of what was actually said.
