I feel some very loud and proud Hendo chants coming!!!!

They’ve onvipusly forgotten the game when they thrashed us 5-0 on NewYears day at Ewood.
I haven’t (though I thought it was 4). From memory is was pissing it down and I may have fucked off for the 5th.

:)

:D You may be right! I can’t remember exactly but I know we got soaked and it was a miserable start to a New Year.

Most sensible set of comments I've seen in a long time tbf. I'd take a point now.

Cheers Roy. It’s gonna be a tough game.
I’m predicting a 2–2 draw which wouldn’t be a bad result!!. UTB

"What sets is aside from Sheff Utd, they don’t have Bradley Dack. We do."

He's forgetting one thing.....

We've got Billy Sharp, Billy Sharp, we've got Billy Sharp, nananananananana, We've got Billy Sharp, Billy Sharp, we've got Billy Sharp!

Blackburn were the first team I ever saw us put 5 past - 1970-71 season at home.

I may have been there. Did they have a player called Eoin Dunphy or similar in that game? It’s a name I remember as being unusual from that era.

Bit taken aback by these comments. As they are actually realistic & have common sense. What gone wrong at Blackburn. We could lose this based on the last Wednesday match, when im still waiting for the real team to turn up to Birmingham game. Hopefully if we can not fall asleep for 5-10mins & have to climb a 3rd mountain in 10 days we could have a great chance as creatively is never a problem

Am i right that the last time we played Blackburn was the infamous premier league game. That finished 0-0 dispite both teams being awarded 3 2nd half penalties

Despite loving the swashbuckling, attacking football and high scoring games, I would actually like us to sneak a 1-0 win by grabbing a goal and shutting them out, just to know that we can do it.

Wouldn't want Wilder getting any ideas and adopting this approach in every game though.

Of course, you should remain professional and do fuckall whilst the scummy fans rain objects down on you. Doesn't matter if you get injured or not...

It's like at school, you're not supposed to hit someone back, you're supposed to tell the teacher....who then does fuckall and they continue to hit you.

So you actually think Henderson saw, aimed and hit the exact person who threw the coin at him?

There was an Eamon Dunphy who played in the 60s and 70s, but he never played for Blackburn Rovers.

Why do they just make stuff up that patently isn't true?

the Blades have a horrible habit of getting results at Ewood.

Blades will come for a shut out

Still, at least I should be pleased that there is none of the 'long ball team of 6 footers" type usual rubbish.

Our record at Blackburn is terrible, 1986 since our last win, 8 games ago and 6 games before that in 1971. We did get a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup in 1993, the last time I was there.

Talking of Blackburn, young Harry Chapman was on loan to them last season but the lad now appears to have dropped off the radar. Looked a bright prospect when loaned to us the season before but seemed injury prone.

My last time there too. My first time was the 3-1 win in November 1970. First time I saw us take a penalty and it was Dave Powell who scored. My other visits were in April 1979 (lost 2-0) and December 1992 (lost to a Kevin Moran goal)

You must surely be partial to poultry, even if it's just socialising :-)

We never shut up shop.weather we're in front, drawing or losing we go for the win! Tufty doesn't like draws!

He went back to Boro and was starting to get on the bench and into the team, I think he started a game as well. However, I think he picked up another injury
