One or two changes likely due to workload.

But only one i’m excited about. Could the Scottish Pirlo return?

It would be great to see Coutts play against Blackburn. Wonder how close he is to starting.

I think it will be
Stevens > Johnson
Freeman > baldock
Duffy > lundstram
Sharp > Clarke
McGoldrick > Washington

Would normally agree, we need to rest players and use the squad.

However those changes were done at home to Birmingham and in the post match interview Wilder admitted that he’d probably made a mistake by making too many changes, so I expect probably 3 changes instead of the 5 posted above.

Our downfall in the Birmingham game was the ineffectiveness of the wing back positions, so I expect Freeman and Johnson to play, with Baldock and Stevens starting on Saturday.

Also think Clarke will return to partner either Sharp or McGoldrick, probably Sharp.

Johnson in for Stevens, Baldock in for Freeman. Possibly Stearman in for Egan [if resting his noggin], other than that we go as we were.

Most importantly though is starting with the Duffy, Sharp and McG triumvirate. Those lad are on fire so I say don't break that momentum.

As long as Scouse Scholes plays we stand a good chance.
We have others that are just as important but we still don't have a similar replacement.
Leave the changes for the home game if we really need to make any..

What? So you'd bench our in-form players? When not bench Henderson and play Moore while you're at it?

Things that EFL teams do in imitation of EPL teams that they shouldn't do, or should do less of:

- squad rotation for the sake of it
- Not try hard in Cup games
- play 1 man up front when their midfielders can't shoot or create

He's no Doyle.

Bodie was that bit cooler anyway.

I recall very little rotation when we stormed League One. In fact, the same group of players won 11 and drew 2 of the last 13 games in 9 weeks. They won the last 7 while constantly pissed!

The Peroni helped them through.

Personally I would play the same team as against Millwall. Let’s make the changes against Hull

Same team as Millwall, then maybe rest a couple for the Hull game. I’d give Coutts until after this international break to get himself fully fit.

Possible changes for Hull - maybe give Marvin Johnson and Richard Stearman a run out. Give Enda Stevens and John Egan a rest.

On a different note, Chris Basham is probably our POTY so far. I almost advocated giving him a rest for one of these two games but I don’t think we can, he’s become far too important to us.

The Doylester did drive the better RS2000 though.

Lewis Colins had the oh-so predictable Capri in the Ford equipped second series.

I had many examples of both cars over the years, standard & modified, & the Capri is a mile better at everything apart from handling, but can be made to if required. The iconic Capri or the boxy Escort, no contest!

There has to be some rotation, but bollox to mass fucking about.

Let's hope our players aren't all bUrNt OuT by January because they played regularly football for half a season.
