Kraft durch Freude
On 20th May 2017, Millwall beat Bradford City 1-0 in the Division One play-off final at Wembley so joined the Blades and Bolton in gaining promotion to The Championship. This despite The Lions winning 27 points less than United’s 100.
This Saturday (29th Sept.), we meet at The Den, the 51st League meeting between the clubs. Last season, we lost at Millwall 1-3 (Brooks) and drew at Bramall Lane on the 14th April 1-1 (Clarke).

…while Millwall are third from bottom with just one win from the first nine games of this season. A 2-0 defeat at West Brom last Saturday continued their dismal form. Last night (Tuesday 25th) Millwall lost 1-3 at home to Fulham and went out of the EFL at the third round stage.

Men to Watch
Steve Morison re-joined Millwall after spells at Leeds and Norwich. An ever-present this term, Morison is Millwall’s all-time third-highest scorer with 91 goals. Only Teddy Sheringham (111) and current Millwall Manager Neil Harris (138) are in front.
Sheffield-born and former United Academy player Lee Gregory has been with The Lions since June 2014.
Ryan Leonard – currently on loan from the Blades is ineligible and will not feature this Saturday.
