Having waxed lyrical about Ollie on other threads, I have just been looking at the highlights, and it is Ollie who lets Toral run into a wide open space to tap into an empty net.

Put it down to not realising that our system has no full backs. Dicko was also very lucky to squeeze the pass between JOC and Leonard.

Thought it was a well worked goal and Toral had an outstanding game tbh. He could be one to watch this season?

I noticed that, the movement from the 3 Hull forwards was excellent though.

In the game I thought it was mostly O’Connells fault, told Egan to cover behind him then let their player run to edge of box rather than close him down further up the pitch

Let’s be reight UCDM. You were the one who insisted Duffy was utter crap so I’ll not let this little misdemeanour on Ollie’s debut 48 hours after he arrived at the club worry me too much :D

I wouldn’t say utter crap Gray - I said in his early days that he held on to the ball too long and moved it forward too slowly or lost it. This was at the same time that Coutts shied away from any physical challenge.

I accepted that both became part of an amazing midfield, and I could never say anything negative about Duff after the Bounce Killing.

With regard to Ollie I said on several threads, and I still stand by it, that his passing display against Hull was the best that I have seen in our shirt since TC. Having raised him to almost god-like standards I felt obliged to point out a slight blemish in his performance. As I said to my lad tonight though, there is a fair chance that Ollie will come to challenge the Irn Bru Wizard as my favourite player.
