Problem with Sharp and Woodburn up top is that the midfield selected above wouldn't be a good one to link up and create opportunities for them, and they're not a pair to go direct to.

The striker shortage is already starting to bite.

No doubt Clarke will start.

Egan needs game time because he looks a tad ropey, likewise Clarke.

I'd like to see RND start at LWB unless we get someone in at that position.

Freeman and Leonard to get some more minutes after promising performances.

Lundstram needs to get a bit of confidence in a game that doesn't matter as much.

Lavery because we don't have many strikers and I wouldn't want to play 2 first teamers to be honest. Again unless we get someone in at this position.

I’d give Norrington-Davise/Bryan a shot a LWB and replace Duffy with Woodburn swapping at 70 mins as on Saturday.

Lavery on at 60 for Sharp. Clarke will have to do 90 as we’re out of options, assuming McGoldrick will be out.

That’s just my thoughts. I’d try and keep momentum going so early in the season, then sack it off in the 2nd round if we get through.

Don't care at all about the game but we only currently have two fit strikers so I would consider playing Sharp for a half and Clarke for a half.

I forgot Slater had gone and wasn't sure about Smith. Stick Coutts on the bench and also another young striker. It's going to be a game difficult to lose whether we want to lose or not!
