Definitely not on iFollow in the UK as I've just phoned them as the club website says it's available to UK customers. Red button counts as being broadcast apparently. Waiting for my Sky to be installed so can't access the red button or app either. Guess it'll be Giddings and Edwards for me tomorrow night then to take me through our battering of Boro to prove the doubters wrong

They've told you the wrong information. The game WILL be on iFollow for UK fans tomorrow as I've purchased a pass for it and been confirmed. I think being on red button does not count here. And if it does, for some reason we ARE showing it tomorrow for UK fans as well.

Is it on sky tomorrow then?!
Seems to be unclear at the moment. IF they are, Sky really aren't shouting about it. I don't think they are til the official weekends they've stated they are doing over 8 weekends for the course of the season. I'd just buy a match pass for iFollow tomorrow just to be safe.

Cheers, did you just subscribe for free and then purchase the pass afterwards. Are you viewing through a laptop or tablet ?

They genuinely said it was blacked out the useless cunts

Anybody know if the red button transmission works without an internet connection.

I will be away with my sky box but without internet!

It's not unclear at all.

It is definitely on Sky.

Sky red button says yes. Skybet say yes. Sky commentators say no. Sky sports football twitter are quiet on the subject. There’s not been this much confusion since Sam(antha) Hashimi.

It is unclear, certainly, from where a lot of people are standing. Mixed messages from Sky. Some sources say it's on. Some are quiet which implies it may not be on. To say this is the first one of the season, you'd think they would be letting fans know this is on and they certainly haven't advertised it on SSN, Twitter or any other forms of media. I for one hope it is on so I don't have to use iFollow and pay for a match pass.

If it wasn't on nobody would be saying it was on.

This website is never wrong.

Not doubting you for one second but I think it's a bit muddy with the way they've advertised it. From a football fan's perspective this is a pretty big deal. Being able to watch a mid-week game that wouldn't normally be televised. Yet they've not shouted about it once? Maybe they're keeping quiet because it's a new system and they want to silently test it out tomorrow without too much attention drawn to it? I dunno. Thinking out loud here. I have bought a match pass for 6 euros on iFollow just in case. I hope I'm wrong and you're correct with it being on as that is less cost to me paying for iFollow every midweek match at least.

Sorry if this has been mentioned else where. Can you access the red button on the iPad app?

Swansea game definatly was on the blades site on saturday through I follow, plus I had also paid for a months ifollow for what I thought would only be audio commenatry for the freindly at Mansfield, I had just paid on friday for a weeks Sky sports pass for now tv, thing is both have a delay of about 45 seconds to 1 minute comapred to Radio Sheff commenatry live on the radio...oh we are on live again tonight on the Radio at Home.....that doesn't usually happen...I wonder why.....:D:D:D:D, SWFIUA

The one thing no-one can accuse Sky of is not pushing something, not shouting from the roof-tops when they introduce something new. The bizarre thing about this is that I've not seen or heard one mention of the red button or seen an advert about it on their channel. Admittedly it's not their beloved Premier League but even so I'd have expected to see something if it's happening tonight for the 1st time.

1. We're not at home
2. Sheffield Wednesday aren't playing tonight

To open
Press the red button on your Sky Q remote when you see a red button symbol on screen.

If you've got a NOW TV Smart Box, you can use Red Button and interactive services on live BBC channels. Just hit the red button on your NOW TV remote to get started. Keep in mind You can't use the Red Button on any of the Sky Sports channels at the moment.

If the red button has a season ticket, does it count in the attendance figure?

It's probably because this match has been moved from later in the month. Technically tonight's game is Gameday 4, due to be played on 21 August, but Gameday 5 is Boro v WBA live on Sky on Friday 24 August. Hence Boro and WBA moved their game to tonight.

No doubt when Gameweek 4 rolls around Sky will shout about it more

Jeez 10 quid for a match pass on iFollow more expensive than a sky 1 day pass who are they kidding?

Does anyone know if you can access red button from the PS4 Sky Go Extra app?
