Decent comments, accurate and very gracious. Was expecting more along the lines of 'we are PL and little old Sheffield should count themselves lucky we didn't smash 10 past them'

Fair play to em.

Their wingers were the difference between the two sides really hurt us

“Brilliant seeing the pace, width and attacking intent".

There's a comment we won't be quoting unless there's a mindset change.

And the obligatory misspelling of Bramall Lane.

Cheers Roy. Their wingers won them the game today.

Exactly right. I’ve said it time and again, our system is all well and good but, repeatedly fails in games where Baldock, Stevens, Basham and JOC are putting in the majority of crosses. We need to work on getting bodies forward but making sure it’s the right players playing the killer pass. If not then firstly Stearman needs to replace Basham, and we need to buy wingbacks that are much much better offensively (or just play Freeman)

Montero has always been top class when I have seen him. Surprised he was loaned out last season.

It reminded me of the England vs Belgium game in the World Cup. When Belgium/Swansea turned the ball over at the back they got it up the field quick with one or two passes to pacy attackers who looked to head straight for goal. By contrast, England/United would take an age to get up the park, giving the opposition time to reset defence and all too often looked for ball inside or to lay it back. There isn't the directness, and I don't mean lumping it, but fast, athletic players who can get the ball and shift with it, whose only though it "I'm going for goal".

Fair comment tbh could see the winner coming , McKsy, Montero , Carroll & McBurnie all performed better than anyone in a red &’ white shirt
But we let them play , we seem to have lost the work rate winning the ball back that we had up to Xmas , complency setting in thought we also missed a leader on Sat organise them and kick a few up the arse
that needed it

I stopped at this point

“Not many teams will get an away win at either of the Sheffield clubs.”

Pretty much fair comments across the board. I do think they slightly overrate their own performance and that’s my honest view not bitterness. They deserved to win, said it straight after the game.

They have 2 or 3 handy players at the top end of the pitch and they hurt us during the last half hour. Before that they offered very little but they deserved the win 100%. Far more incisive when it counted.

Swansea deserved to win. A bit surprised that Wilder rated us the better team.
