Just because he scored 20 last season doesn't mean he can't get any criticism and that's what's happening at the min and happened at the end of last season as well for what ever reason he finishes every single game and can't be dropped coming into the season Billy was better in pre season. Leon also spent a hell of a lot of time running with his head down facing the floor in the second half and look knackered yet he still finished the game.

I don't know if McGoldrick was exhausted or what but I'd have taken Clarke off for Sharp. Billy showed more with and without the ball, in his brief cameo to confirm that I'd rather see him and McGoldrick start up front.

I wouldn't really say anyone played well, Henderson included. But at the end, as we were piling on the pressure, the ball bounced on the edge of the six yard box and sat up perfectly for Enda Stevens to gently side foot volley it back into the middle. Somehow, without any pressure, he managed to over hit and slice it over the bar for a goal kick as well, how that is even possible, I don't know

Stevens has been out of form for a while now. In was hoping a good rest would have done the trick for Stevens and that he would have com3 back like he started off with us, but he's still playing like he's scared to do anything positive. That's a real shame as he has the talent to be a half decent player but he's just not done it for a while now and today was a continuation of the second half of last season. I don't recall seeing Lafferty having so many poor games in a row and he was replaced.

I'm hoping the new lad from City can come in and do it for us.

I agree with the vast majority of your comments but none of that means Nick Jansky is wrong. He's bang on the money. What happened on the pitch today doesn't negate that.

Defence took the blame but it was pretty obvious we might struggle with their pace. As you say, wrong tactics.
