Sat is a room with the biggest set of fools ever (shareholders)

Look forward to hearing mate.

Got shut of my fairly paltry shareholding years ago. Not sure why really looking back but then again I can't say I look back with regret.

What a stupid thread, why are you insulting them just because they have shares in a club they invested in and support. It's obvious you have made your mind up before hearing anything that's said, so if I was you I wouldn't bother reporting back I think I know what we can expect.

I'd guess it was tongue in cheek seeing as he's gone as well.

I went to the last one a few months ago and that was standing room only. I imagine the same thing today: McCabe defending his stance (watched by the Prince's legal rep) and saying "We're All Blades Aren't We" to a room of shareholders.

The biggest laugh was a question from the floor from a rather bemused Fanny Craddock lookalike who'd just inherited a stash of shares from her beloved dad and wanted to know how much they were worth.

It's a shareholders meeting. Why would the Princes legal rep be there. Nothing to do with them, whatever the content.

the reason for fools is I lost hundreds of pounds buying the shares, which was rather foolish.

main points:

Kevin and Philip the lawer came across very well.

1) high court case date set for May 2019.
2) meditation requested by the Prince set for September this year and welcomed by Kevin and co.
3) the 20m the Prince is trying to avoid is compensation to SUFC PLC and not all he has to pay, he has to pay the current market value for the ground and assets which is significantly more.
4) the Prince is allegedly involved in a suspect loan 'stronger word' used in the meeting of 1.6m which we are unhappy with.

lots of other tit bits and lots of support for Kevins stance.

feel free to correct me if I am wrong and sorry if I have upset anyone for calling ourselves fools for been shareholders in a football club!

So would McCabe and family rather get totally out but thePrince won’t/can’t buy the ground etc?

Thanks for the update. 1 and 2 are of interest the rest is just anti Prince bluster. Any actual date mentioned for September mediation? Interesting it was the Prince who requested mediation and not KM.

I'm not sure meditation is going to help the situation. :)

"...sorry if I have upset anyone for calling ourselves fools for been shareholders in a football club!..."

No more foolish than actually buying a football club, eh?

yes Kev wants to get out but not to the Prince.

point 5) I should add. the Prince agreed to put 10m in which he did in the first 2 years, Kev was asked how much he had put in and Philip mouthed 17m I think, someone nearer may be able to confirm, which suggests in the last 5 years the two owners put in 20m in first two years and 14m in the last 3. Which makes my few hundred quid look like nothing.

Which would suggest to me that KM has a better deal waiting in the wings?
