Confess your unpopular opinions regarding SUFC

Our club owners ever since I’ve been going are a shambles and none have ever shown any ambition to take us forward.

Our best sides in my lifetime 88/93 02-3 05-07 11/12 16/17 have been despite the owners.

Some of our fans believe we belong in the top flight when history suggests we should be anywhere but.

I got why Warnock put Morgan up front v Millwall 03/04 and can’t knock him for it.

I don’t blame West Ham for us going down I blame Warnock.

I cringe at any Facebook posts on Blades groups that are incoherent and generally factually incorrect.

I think all the staff that work in the refreshment kiosks do a sterling job

PS they make lovely gravy as well.....

The Sheffield Derby isn’t as big as everyone makes it out to be

United and Wednesday are not so different to each other and are similar in many ways.

playing the intro to Annie's song. just stop fucking doing it.. we'll sing it when 'we' like not when prompted. Thankyou (and it's too fucking slow in the origina)

edit: fucking Blades website.. an abomination

heh.. apologies. seem to be developing fucking tourettes ;)

I don’t think we are as big of a club as some on here and in general think. We are a medium sized club with higher than average attendances for a club our size. We have potential to be a bigger club, City centre club, the proper Sheffield club but decades of miss management and shite leave us where we are. We haven’t won owt (worth winning) in most if not all of our lifetimes. It pains me to see our fans belittle clubs like Ipswich it just makes me cringe.

Considering how many likes this has got, perhaps it isn’t an unpopular opinion afterall.

I’d like to watch Sheffield United ladies have a wet tee shirt competition and then mud wrestle each other in front of the kop
It takes some doing, especially considering some of the posts I've seen on this forum, but I think you take the all-time prize for misunderstanding the thread title the most completely.

I hate how some of our fans wear how much we've under-achieved in 50 or 60 years as a badge of honour.

I also hate how some of our regular away attendees see themselves as a little exclusive club that gets spoiled when more fans attend.

I think our fans would moan if we won the Champions League by scoring 10 goals against Barcelona
I definitely would. imagine the mustard flying around at half time if that actually happened

I thought Coutts was shite.

I thought Hammond was going to be a good signing.

I thought Michael Higdon was going to be prolific.

I thought Weir was a good appointment.

I thought Adkins should have been given more time.
Agree with all except the last one, unless you mean “in a lunatic asylum”?

I absolutely love the 125 shirt and think it's one of the best we've ever had.

Gary Sinclair is one of the best stadium announcers there is.

I think Andy Gray was pretty decent for us.

I also think Mark McNulty was decent for us.
