For me, Freeman is a lot better than Boldock. Boldock did a good job last season but I always thought we missed Freeman. Wilder started Freeman in the last few games last season and explained that Freeman "gives us a little bit more" in the final third. In those last few games Freeman showed this to be the case. Today, for me anyway, this was also the case. I thought Boldock struggled today but when Freeman came on we had so much more down the right.

Just my observation, what do you guys think?

Freeman will probably chip in with a few goals, but I think Baldock's better defensively.
Personally, I'd keep Baldock in but there's not much between them.

Freeman hasn't been as good as baldock in the preseason games so far. Baldock will start the season

We play 3 5 2 just as England did in the world cup. Everyone saw how good trippier was in the final third. In defence the WING BACK is a defender when needed, not out of choice.

Freeman is much better in the final third.

If we are to get anywhere near the top six, we have to get forward and we have to create goals. For that very reason I for one will be disappointed if Freeman doesn't start v Swansea.

Teams need a right fullback in a 4, not in a 3.

I've given you a like for finding a new way to incorrectly spell one of our players names wrong. Now wtf were you talking about..?

Baldock is the better of the two in every aspect bar goal scoring. And he’s our only genuine pace.

Mind you, Fleck looked fast as fuck today.

Agree we need Baldock’s pace, but Freeman’s link up play around the opposition box is a class above, as well as his goal threat.

I’d be tempted to play Freeman against defensive opponents, but Baldock against top teams.

Baldock is a very good defender as well, Freeman not so much.
I’d agree with your idea although pace is sometimes the best way to get through these teams

I like Kieron though, a very good headache to have.

I said Boldock, I say should we shave he said No,i wasn't sure, so I did anyway now hes Boldock and Boldock for boldocks sake, damn Bolds

IMO Freeman just tips it. He attacks slightly better and his delivery is better plus he will weigh in with attempts on goal. Baldock defends better (slightly) but a wingback is supposed to bomb on.
