I read in an interview Evans saying it's great to train knowing you're almost certain to start the game on Saturday

Very harsh Alien. I think he said it was great to train knowing he was going to start tonight; this after a good debut and a goal on Saturday.

Bit different to what you're suggesting.

Blackwell bottled taking Evans off tonight.
I'm no fan of Billy but he would have caused Leicester more problems had he replaced Evans

Agree with much of that Alien although I'd have put Ward in the middle with Henderson and brought Cotts on down the right.
Evans was very lucky to stay on and I'm sincerely hoping we haven't sold the Kyles to buy in a striker who's not even Championship standard.

Oh stop it with the reactionary windups Len. You're better than that.

I'm suggesting no player should be guaranteed a starting place, which is exactly what he thinks he's got.
He was poor tonight .. very poor.

And I'm saying that was a very harsh summary. He thought he had a start for tonight based on a good performance and a goal in the previous match. That's a huge difference from thinking he's got a guaranteed start and a twisting of his words.

No wind-up. I've seen nothing in either of his performances to suggest anything like a £3m striker.
His performance tonight was frighteningly poor, capped by that pass to the keeper at the end.

I wasn't twisting his words.
He said it is nice to train every day knowing you are virtually guaranteed a start on saturday unlike at city where he wasn't.

He said it not me. I don't twist words thank you

I love the 21st century.

Late 80's / early 90's we'd have sat around in a pub after the game talking about the result and then started to chat about rumours and by kicking out time our mediocre squad would have a couple of cult figures and we'd wake up the next morning satisfied with our lot.

Now, the advent of instant mass communication means that our whole support can unite behind or against any player within hours of the final whistle, wake up the next morning with ideas of how they can change the world and within weeks we've all got dirty socks in the car park and jeering young hopefuls.

Viva la revolution. Bill Gates is god.

Alternately a little balance wouldn't go a miss. Have a pint. Get over it.

You forgot the part about analysing the players, managers and chairmans every word (despite the fact a number of them struggle to string a sentence together and are having to return with an instant answer).

Other than that, pretty much spot on :D

If he said that, then I'll apologise.

And I strongly believe it was based on his performance on Saturday.

Anyway, not gonna argue any more. He was poor tonight, so fingers crossed he's better on Saturday.

Leaving it there as bed is calling. G'night :D
