Heads Up. If I've got my info correct. RMT have called a strike for Northern Rail on 21 July. The day of the away friendly at Mansfield. That may get in the way of Blades making their way by train.

Don't forget to blame the Government & Rail Companies - not the ordinary, just trying to get by, workers & their Union.

You wouldn't want to be arriving in Nottinghamshire, for a Blades game on a Scab train would you?

(As it happens, I've said that for effect, I hate name calling & Scab is a particularly difficult word)

Well luckily for you Phil there’s a coach going just in case of such disruption.
Remember, book early!

Thanks for the heads up, but I'll still be getting the train if it exists

I thought Mansfield was famous for being the biggest town in Britain without a train station?

I'm just confused as to why, upon receiving my ticket today, they indicate on the ticket that they play the Pigs three days later. I wouldn't have thought we'd be the target audience for that fixture

Because its the same template for home and away tickets.

They'll probably have their usual 3 or 4 fixture programme too.

There is no such thing as a “friendly” at Mansfield. You’ll get bashed up if you go there.
