So how are you overreacting?

The most disappointing thing is, for myle anyway, is that we're not going to the lad to damage for us and become that 'special' player every supporter craves for their team. Will there ever be a time when United can put together, keep together, and add to a very very special group of players? I feel we're getting close to this, especially with Wilder in charge. However, the sale of Brooks is a very clear indicator of us needing some serious investment.
No, there won’t. Wenger couldn’t keep his best players at Arsenal so how are we ever going to keep our best players, unless our ‘best’ player is just our least shit one, like in the Weir season.

Is it really overreacting to think that the reported fee is a poor deal for the club when you consider the age and potential of the player and the financial muscle of premier league clubs?

This same thread was made after the sale of Walker and Maguire for pathetic fees too. The same excuses.

I can't recall excuses about the Walker deal. I do remember across the board astonishment and anger about the fee. There was general acceptance by those that had seen him that he was a genuine prospect. That's clearly not the case with Brooks.

Maguire was often ridiculed and called Leadboots.

I've just kidney punch a disabled lesbian orphan with one leg.

I've also taken my David Brooks pin badge and shoved it up next door cats arse.

Finally I've just had an angry wank watching a video of Asa Akira.

*actually only one of those above comments is true...
Physically impossible to punch anyone with your leg.

How's the cat ?

Saw it coming, so just getting on with it :)

I've over reacted by burning a Welsh flag... then I realised that Brooks is English and this time last year he was starring in the Toulon tournament for England.

Moral of the story, never trust a player who'll turn his back on his country, because he'll do it for his club as well!

I was thinking similar. It’s like he’s so desperate to succeed he’s trying to take short cuts. He could have waited with England and maybe got his debut in a year or so, after having another season with us, developing and getting a move to a bigger club than Bournemouth but he’s opted for an inferior national side and the first PL club that’s sniffed his arse and offered him a biscuit.

I wish him all the best , not sure how he will go on in the prem , and the night life in Bournemouth is wank , all those OAPS , after just watching Maguire come on for England and playing with ease , its just what we do, sell sell sell !!

When did you last go out in Bournemouth? It’s a stag destination now, even got a strip club.

It has more than one, they tried to get us in with loads of other Blades the last time we were down there.

Well good luck to him. He's now a millionaire and could probably spend the next few years tossing it off in Bournemouths reserves before retiring, having been set up for life. Meanwhile his agent has bought a Ferrari.

I thought my Cat looked funny when she came back in. Not all bad news though. Next time I do the litter tray it will be like a lucky dip...…………….

Yer that where everyone goes now , Bournemouth lol , once you've got passed all the Zimmer frames , and the electric scooters , you can have a reight night out just as long as your home for 930 pm lol.

Just celebrated with a wonderful Tapas style BBQ from M&S accompanied by a robust South African Shiraz at the Outlaws

Had a wee toast to Brooksy in remembrance of that nutmeg at Swillsborough

All in all ...lots of opinions on whether its a good or bad decision - only time will tell

So....my advice is get the BBQ lit, get the 3 for £10 at M&S, get a robust Shiraz uncorked and fucking enjoy the combo on a balmy summer evening

Life is too short for meaningless shit

Tarks x

I'm getting a Chesterfield season ticket so I can watch him play, like I did last year to watch Rammers.

OK fair enough, I'll be going to the car boot sale as well. Can't pass that up.

Don't know what all the fuss is about.....

Players come and go, we carry on through thick and thin (fairly thick at the moment).

The £12m will provide funds to add three or four good additions to the squad. Good luck to Dave, I hope he does well.

Bournemouth is a pleasant place, he will get a big payday and can by a nice gaf on sandbanks.

Happy days.
