Well he’s Portuguese so surely this is a non starter. Would like to see a winger brought in though to be fair.
 
He's a skillful little attacking midfielder, versatile, more about technical ability than pace. It could suggest Holmes is leaving.

If we've been watching Plymouth and fancy him ahead of Graham Carey he must be decent.

Think we was after or rumoured to be after Carey last year but he opted to sign a new contract. I take it he did well last year?
 
Not saying the lad isn't a good player but I thought we might be aiming our sights a bit higher now.

However if we are saving the big bucks for a GK, Defender and Striker [or two] then fair enough.
 
If possible, it might be a good idea to get any cheaper signings in first, so when it comes to the more expensive signings their clubs don't think we have much to spend.
 
Skilful, tricky winger. Young enough to improve his game further under Wilder and wouldn't be coming here demanding a starting spot. For a relatively cheap fee I don't see why this would be a bad signing.

Good attitude or Nathan Thomas?
 

We don't play wingers. We had one but the poor fucker got bombed out. Can I just add that this is the site that had Wilder leaving for Sunderland as an absolute nailed on certainty.
 
Duane Holmes on a free would be a similar and possibly better option than Lameiras. He's one who definitely has a good attitude.

I'd hope he's better than the lad that has been criticised by many supporters who have seen him at a League 1 club this season...
 
If we are after another 10, which might suggest Holmes is going, we must be in for oztumer for free. Unless we have tried and he might be wanting to much, or the location.
 
Always thought he was a central midfielder who could carry the ball,than a winger..liked what i saw when he was with Coventry,but not noticed how he!s done at Plymouth.

It’s worth noting that sometimes we criticise professional footballers, labelling them as “mercenaries” for taking the money over a greater chance of starting football matches. Here is a case of a player who turned down “triple money” at Middlesbrough as he fancied his chances of getting into our first XI.

As it happens, his career is on a bit of a downward trajectory and he may have made close to £1,000,000.00 more at Middlesbrough over a two year period. A life changing sum if his career doesn’t recover.
 
The lad Carey is constantly linked with moves all over the place but no club actually makes it happen.

Methinks there’s a reason nobody bringsimin.
