Come on Rovrum!

I presume they can't lob bricks at their new stadium?

Can't stand Warne the arrogant prick. Wanted Shrewsbury to go up, they were up there most of the season. Play-offs are wank.

The negative is that we'll not be able to palm Lavery off on them now.

Deserved that.

I married into a family of Millers (Father in law and brothers in law are down there today) and their shared hatred for Wednesday should be enough for us to have a soft spot.

As a few of you know, I own a shop in Rotherham town centre too and the majority who come in there are quite humble. The dee-dah stuff pisses me off, but fuck it, they're punching up and always will be.

Well done millers , I enjoyed watching that , perfect day for Wood and his family at Wembley , scores 2 goals , gets man of the match , and they go up , and I like Paul Warne seems an ok guy !

My dad was from Rotherham and was a Miller till he passed away almost 2 years ago, took me to millmoor until the age of 8 until cousin cooperman took me to the lane and then that was that. Real soft spot for em and just know me dad will be jigging like crazy up there...gu on favver!

I like this result, just goes to show you can have all the qualifications in the world and not make it as a manager but stick an enthusiastic physio in there and they're laughing! Don't want to meet them too soon though, what with all that momentum they'll have!

About 8 year I knew a couple of Wednesday fans and they both really really disliked Rovrum.
Think Rotherham scored a last minute winner at The Sty 2 years running.
They said Millers were giving it large gloating big time, showing off after the match on Leppings Lane.

I took the piss out of both of them telling them their feelings proves that Owls fans see Rovrum as genuine rivals.
It’s a total embarrassment for any Sheffield fan to feel any jealousy or bitterness towards the Merry Millers.
I grew up in Brinsworth Rotherham, so always had a soft spot for them.

The sort of attitude I’d expect from the other side of the city tbh. We may well get 6 points off them – I’ll be surprised if they are easy points.

You'll have to be surprised then.

Nothing to fear from tinpot Rotherham.....................there you are another bit of attidude you might expect from the other side of the city.

Just got back from Wembley, got some complimentaries through a mate who works for the club. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

My advice is, if you’re going to go to the play offs, do it watching another club when there’s nowt at stake.

Shrewsbury with a goal straight from the "Alan Knill's set pieces for beginners" book.

Shrewsbury for me sadly.

A night out in Rotherham doesn’t compete with Shrewsbury. I found some decent pubs in Shrewsbury and welcoming locals.

My experience of Rotherham’s nightlife and especially its ‘females’ was they were a cross between the zombies in Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ video and Paul Shane as Ted Bovis in ‘Hi-de-Hi’. Though to be fair to the zombies in Jacko’s video they were far better dressed than the folk of Rotherham and to be fair to Paul Shane he had less facial hair and weight than the Rotherham laydeez that I met.

Not a place on many people’s bucket list..

Agreed, went with my Miller partner and her daughter. Was pretty cool about it all but even I went a bit mad at the second goal! :D

Wembley - everything I despise about football. I was even nervous for Rotherham yesterday with that awful sick feeling in my stomach. Never want to go there again, although I may make an exception for an FA cup final. You just can't enjoy it. A bit like playing the pigs. Walking up those steps for a concert made me feel ill.

Cooperman ? I can only think of one cooperman that went to the Lane . Is it the same one ?
