Norwich City !!!

Never liked them. Ed Balls, let’s be havin you and that shit song “on the ball city.” Makes me puke. It just got ramped up this year with there performance down at the Lane. Then to top it off they were singing we love Wednesday on the way out of the ground. One of them did get told in no uncertain terms to be quite. I don’t advocate violence but come on.

Scum might be a bit harsh but at least nob heads of the earth.

Some worthy names on here but...…………………..

Ainsworth, from now until the end of time.
Agreed. Will never forget the sight of him trying to kick danish into orbit but then seeing danish on the ground in so much pain and ainsworth just stood there looking. He just didn't give a fuck!!. Full weight cunt.

I’ve not got much hatred in me at the minute, and I seem to have left a lot of things go, as if you carry hatred round with you it will eventually consume you, so I’ve moved on from hating things, and there isn’t much I hate any more.

I agree 100% with this.

I can't think of anything or anyone I hate. There are plenty that of things or people that I dislike, but "hatred" is such a negative thing.

The topic is about "grudges" though, not "hatred" per se. And that's somewhat different. A grudge being when you hold something against someone for something they've done. I've been thinking long and hard about this as well, and I can't come up with anything.

I think I've learned to deal with things as they arise and then let them go. I don't hold grudges. I may respond differently to a person or a situation as a result of something that's happened in the past, but I don't store things up and look to get my own back as it were.

Same reasons as above...it's not good to be carrying negative baggage around with you about stuff.

Our Simon holds grudges against those players because they all signed his autograph book "To a special boy".

Scottish ginga ninja for weeds when the twock stood on top of the advertising hoardings celebrating after scoring at the lane....

I met Strachan once when as chair of Pudsey Round Table we were presenting a minibus to West Leeds Gateway Club and Strachan and Mervyn Day were the guests of honour.

Found them both to be thoroughly decent guys who went far beyond just turning up on the day, so much so that I can forgive both their indescretions against us.

Strachan as above and Day's thoroughly inept performance at Selhurst against Wimbledon

I don't recall Stein ever doing much wrong

When he scored that goal he was only doing hos job, so I've got nowt against him at all.

Now Hans Segers, that's a different matter

West Ham and the establishment will never be on my Xmas list but thw two I will always despise are Tarrico and Ainsworth with one or two others not far behind, Rodney Marsh being one of them.

It goes without saying that anything Leeds United trumps the lot of em.

Agreed Maidenhead, Segers was the villain that season.

The Stein incident was light hearted fun and he loved it to be honest, as i said, nice bloke.

You missed Rodney Marsh - but you may be a bit young to remember that.

All mine have already been mentioned except Rob Styles, he will always be an absolute cunt in my book.

David Weir.

The little scrawny *#%##%$ with his grey shit waistcoat like he was at a wedding every Saturday.

You might be thinking its ridicolour to have a grudge against him, but no. That game (the one before he got sacked) maybe it was an FA cup game, or a League cup game I don't know but it was the early rounds, we were playing a shite Hartlepool team and we couldn't string a pass together and that *#%##%$ was just stood their the entire match folding his arms with his stupid wastcoat. I know this because I was sat behind the *#%##%$.

No passion, no drive, no ambition... never welcome again as far as I'm concerned.

Alan Birch of Chezzie early 80s really pissed me off and that arrogant prancing twat at Norwich...Maddison is it? Fucker

Play off finals...

Hate em. I’ve been to three, refused to go to the last one and will simply not go. The emotional wreckage ain’t worth the slim chance of success. That Hopkins feeling will never be erased.

Take all your hopes, dreams and money and then destroy you. The whole soul, existence and all that you hope for incinerated as you see all that you wanted in life and had worked for being given to the opposition.

A bit like the old divorce settlement, though with United in play off finals it’s like you keep going back for more, despite the fact she ran off with your best mate/brother/dad/sister, swore she loved you, asked to come back and then repeated it all again, each time taking that much more of your record collection, pension, house/flat/bedsit.

Play off finals with United.. the worst emotional roller coaster a man can have...

I think Liverpool’s goalie may disagree
You might think their supporters would not wish death on anyone given their bleating about the Hillsborough disaster But hey ho Again a minority have shown their true colours Always entitled and pure as driven shit

Seeing the new West Ham shirt set me thinking. When (if ever) will I not feel resentful when I see or hear anything to do with them. It might be as I get older I forget things more but aim sure we've got over grudges with other teams before. Probably felt wronged on a smaller scale I grant you.
Anyway, who can remind me of our current (or your personal) list of grudges against teams, players, managers, football figures etc and remind us of some expired ones from the past?.

Ill start off with Mark Stein. For me still current.
Bobby Moore

Can't remember the year 67 or 68 Blades playing West Ham .Spent Friday night getting my Topical Times ready for the game as it had a great picture of Bobby Moore , Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters what a chance to get all 3 autographs .Went to the old players entrance at full time which in that year was 4.40 did not arse about and have 15 minutes break at half time. Got there and must have been 500 other autograph hunters waiting so thought stuff this no chance of getting them to sign. Trundled off to the station full of disappointment to wait for my train back home which went at 10 past 6. Sat there on the platform waiting when I heard loads of footsteps coming down , looked up and there they were the whole West Ham team coming down the steps.Right who shall I go for , got to be Bobby Moore , "Can I have your autograph please" His reply and never ever will I forget it "Fak off" at which I said "Does that mean no" as it was the first time I had heard a proper swear word and spoken in broad cockney. He seems the reason I have a grudge against West Ham and the not so great man everyone made him out to be.

I don't get it. I obviously have a character flaw. Grudges are for keeps. I got em from 58 years ago. Most of the human race for me, but recently added Snodgrass, Grealish, Corbyn, McDonnell, Johnson, Gove, Farage, Grayling and Trump as especially deserving of retribution.

Those 2 refs we had in the PL. The Steven Gerrard one and the hopeless waste of spunk at Old Trafford who thought it was a fair tackle on Luton Shelton. I mean what the actual effinghell did he think that tackle was?!!

Other than Pawson I don’t like referees. Pussys most of them. They get the piss took out of them by players (particularly when it comes to timewasting) and they just let them carry on, fearing any gobbing they might get for booking someone for it. Unless we’re deeeeeeep into stoppage time when it’s safe to book him.

Good call. When radio stations have a phone in on "What would you change in football" Definitely stoppage time added especially by teams who have blatantly wasted 6 or 7 minutes then get a goal against them only to go and get the time given back to them by Inept refs really gets my goat . Suppose this could be classed as a grudge.
