Apparently surplus to Newcastle requirements and will be a free agent in the summer, he looked decent for Bolton from what I've seen last season and injects a bit of pace, personally think he may be a decent signing should the system fit?

Not sure where I see him in a Wilder setup. As a plan B then maybe, but I don't know where he'd fit in at the moment. Wouldn't fancy him as a wing back, and he doesn't really score many to warrant putting him further up the pitch.

He'd be an option as both a striker and a winger, so could prevent us from signing an extra player. But I'd like someone more proven up front.

He'll probably go to Bolton.

Wouldn't start, similar to Clarke and Hanson is the plan B lump up front...no thanks.

Long shot, but if Middlesbrough can stay up, would like to see Patrick bamford come on a year long loan.

I'd like to see Chapman come back if they stay up. I think Bamford will be sold tbh.

Plus a transfer fee which would be well out of our reach.
Wages, Blades definitely won't pay that. But apart from teams with parachute payments, we should be competing with transfer fees. But like you say £45k a wk wages, so a non starter.

He's got 4 years left on his deal. Unless Boro desperately need to cut their wage bill he'd command a fee between £3.5-5 million. We're not in that league.

Been released by Newcastle, definitely would take him can play on either wing, quick and an eye for goal... thoughts?

He's alright sometimes.

Doesn't really score, so wouldn't fancy him too far forward.

Isn't the best at tracking back, so would struggle on the wing in a Wilder team.

He's not awful. 5.5/10.

Quick wiki search...
He doesn't score!

Except against us, Bolton would want him but won't be able to pay his wages

Big, strong, versatile, has some skill and guile and a good left foot.

Would be a good one to have in the squad but I wouldn't want to rely on him up front - I wouldn't sign him if it meant signing no other striker, as his scoring record isn't great. Other than that though, I think he'd be a decent strike partner for most strikers - he can challenge in the air, get hold of the ball and link things together. I'd also prefer something a bit different on the right wing, ideally right footed. But I wouldn't mind if we signed him and a striker.

Think he'll go to Bolton, play every week and be Parkinson's 'target winger' who they launch it up to from every goal kick.

Not a world beater but the sort of player that could be a useful squad member and offer something different to the other current strikers.

Surely we'd be looking at him this summer. He's pretty much carried Bolton this season, even more so when they got rid of Madine. Contracts up this summer too.

Rumours that some Chinese conglomerate are going to buy Bolton, so he might not be going anywhere
