It stinks of wilder playing up the ownership debate to keep his 'legend state's while jumping ship because he suspects he'll not be able to repeat this seasons early form. Because right now I would slap £20 on it.

Until there is an obvious leak then it's pure speculation. My hope is that Wilder is only letting it run to give the owners a kick up the arse.

So many of his family and friends are Blades that surely word would get out if he had decided to do a runner.

Surely the owners know that a lot of fans would turn on them if Wilder leaves? Clearly they'd get the blame and perhaps a section of the fan base might "walk" as well - even if only temporarily.
