My son is going to uni in September so was thinking of not renewing as he won't get to many matches, trouble is he has nearly 40,000 points . Does anyone know if you can transfer them onto a membership . Not getting much joy from the ticket office

I didn't think that it mattered if he has a season ticket or membership he will have his own customer number won't he? His Customer number (mine is 7 numbers) will be on his current Season ticket (i think)

You retain the points, but can't activate them until somebody buys a season ticket or a membership on that particular card. The points are not wiped of but they are dormant until the point that they are activated by those means.By dormant I mean the card cannot be used to get ahead in the queue for home or away tickets. You can still accumulate points on that card, but can't activate them. You could have a million points but if you have no membership or season ticket assigned to that card you can't access them. Memberships for next season will not go on sale for a while yet though. If he will let you use his card you could get him to get a membership or season ticket and be able to use the loyalty points on that card.Hope that makes sense.

#All the above is contingent in the club not overhauling the system at the end of the season.

Thanks no one seems to know in office
Our Jack moved to Spain three years ago, but he still had a customer number, which retained his points. When he came back and renewed his ST nine months ago, his points were still there. In between, when he came home on holiday from Spain, he went to any games that were on, using his customer number and his points still accumulated.
