Anyone going tonight . Would be interesting to hear what mccabe says in his speech, if anything mentioned about the situation .
 



It'll contain a selection of the following:

"I'm as disappointed as anyone"
Something about bad luck, misfortune, etc.
Something about how far we've come & not get greedy.
"We've got a great manager & players"
"It's been a really good season."
"We've got our pride back."
"Wasn't it great beating Wednesday"
Some story about his childhood, a long deceased ex player and a long forgotten match.
"Chris knows I'm his biggest fan"
"I'm as eager to short out the current issues as you are".
"There's money for strengthening if CW wants it. I'm not going to mention amounts."
Something about the u23's & the Ladies sides and that the futures golden.
Something about firm foundations & building steadily towards promotion.

I'll remember the good and bad in equal measure when Kev departs.

But his legacy will be what happens to Sheff Utd beyond this summer. We are at a crucial period for the future of our club and I can't see a scenario that will play out where KM comes out of it shining.

1. He bows to Prince, they assume control and I think its fairly pessimistic future for the identity of club (imo).

2. He finds another buyer, same mystery as no.1 .

3. He somehow shifts the Prince out, we go back to running the frugal McCabe operation until no.2 .

In any of the above scenarios, the likelihood is that CW will walk because none of those are concluded in a matter of days, which is the timeframe we need to work to to make CW even entertain the idea of staying whilst his stock his high and could earn better money elsewhere.

Losing CW will be another, and lasting, detrimental impact that KMc has had on our club.

Sounds like an eventful night if you believe the Facebook rumours....Ched was pissed when he got there after behaving like an arse in the Nursery Tav......Duffy was wankered, started on Couttsy pushing him to the floor and had to be reprimanded by Billy....then all the players fucked off half way through the night!

Disclaimer; Chali 2na for clarity I am just repeating the alleged individual accounts from others who claim to be at the event. It has also not been established if CW had his Peroni in a pint pot or a bottle....

I was there and it's true about Duffy and Coutts. Young Regan Slater also got involved. All happened outside in the car park, Billy and Knill had to go out and bang some heads together. Duffy was absolutely paralytic.

From what I recall, the majority of the players stayed until the end of the do

Coutts has got the reach advantage but think Duff could do some damage on the inside.
 
Rumour has it Kev got pissed up and decided to try to double our summer transfer kitty at the Casino. He lost ten grand on a single roulette spin. Also Ched got picked up by two lasses in the kebab house on London Rd, he can't remember a thing this morning but he lost his wallet
 



Duffy has said in the past he doesn’t usually drink. I guess we’ve found out why.
