“This is must win but a point could do (Strange football isn’t it?)"

"Must"

Wow, tough lads aren't they. I was at that game in the 70's, I don't remember any of that bollocks , I remember when we got in the ground a copper asked what was going on (large number of blades, last match of season) when we told him that if we win we were in Europe for the first time he went and told his mate who just shook his head, no warning, the coppers couldn't believe it, 0-0,is about all I can remember from the game , so near so far, I really thought we were on for good times, how many times have we thought that, this time next year.......

And I think Currie missed a penalty ?

Visiting Birmingham makes me thankful I come from Sheffield.

Horrendous place.
I'm the opposite, went to Uni in Birmingham. Walking round the city centre makes me realise just how far Sheffield is behind other major cities - we are nowhere near. There are some extremely affluent areas along with the usual junk areas as in most cities.
I wouldn't say it's great but for facilities etc I think they are miles ahead. All rail stations had massive upgrades, different quarters for tourists - not sure what Sheffield offers in return.

“They may be but they are not in great form and if you remember we completely matched them earlier in the season.”

completely matched them, what is he on, this is the same game that was live on sky sports, where we battered them for 90 mins & they had 1 shot that just happened to go top corner

but this seems overconfident for me because they are poor side, but dangerous because teams in relegation battle at this time do pull out unlikely results, just look at burton last week

Great town centre. Some genuinely rough suburbs.

Fans with a penchant for talking about people they don't know fighting other people they don't know. Saying they have as good a side as ours even though they have lost 25 of 43 games. Good times

Here's your Wednesday logic: Villa drew with us at home so if they beat us they are better than Villa (and should be awarded the World Cup).

Just don’t lose, really want these fuckers relegated !

Think I speak for almost everyone on here when I say that I want these tinpot fuckers relegated. As much as I want to disagree with myself though, this won’t be an easy game. Garry Monk is a half decent manager unlike Cotterill.

Some of these comments are
Roberto-esque with the spelling and pronunciation.

I'll be on my guard Saturday with this lot. Feisty fuckers.
Last time I was there was when Kevin Phillips scored in injury time and they were trying to get over the fences at us afterwards !! After they'd won FFS !!

I believe that a Sheffield suburb has (I know at one point in the not too distant past it definitely did have) the highest concentration of millionaires outside of London.

There's lots of big cities with massive shopping centers etc etc... We've all been to London.

We all know it's shite, and Birmingham is just a small version of that.

Sheffield is a unique English city because of its topography, and social history. Don't you forget that sir.

I really appreciate that it's different from a topography point of view and much the better for it in my opiopin. Sheffield is so much greener and rural if you like,. My opinion of Sheffield city centre from the 70's is one of decline, although recent improvements are to be seen. I still maintain Birmingham, Manchester , liverpool and Leeds for example are miles ahead of us as an attraction. I think this is a factor Imus attracting investment, always underselling our city.

Hmm yes .. been acquainted with this lot on more than few occasions in the past .. so you’ve come and took the piss in Sheff .. really ?? a few of them a
Pear to suffer from selective amnesia .. never seen win at St Andrews always been a bogey ground in my time .. time we put that right ( and put the Adams 1-0 thought into room 101 )
They are totally bananas

The way that most of the points are made is as if they genuinely think they are a big club, bigger than us.

Lads, we were getting more last year in League One - 21,892 than you are getting in the Championship this year - 20,802.

Our average home attendance - 26,776 is higher than your highest - 24,408.

We’re 26 points better off after 43 matches, how can they claim to be better?

You may have fluked a draw but how 69% vs 31%, 12 shots vs 3 shots and 9 corners vs 1 cornwr constitutes matching someone, I’ll never know.

Boga may have pulled out the winning lottery ticket once but if we play anything like the same we should be winning this about 3-1. When the league awarded them a point last time, I’m surprised they didn’t hand it back through sheer embarrassment!

Brooks to star, Clarke buoyed by the team of the year inclusion this week and Duffy supermotivated.

COYRAWW!!!

Birmingham City FC....only Walsall below them in terms of size and quality. How they claim the Birmingham name is beyond me.

West Brom, Wolves, Villa....all above them. Small club mentality at its finest in those comments. Relegate them Blades, relegate them well. About time they sunk into oblivion, nothing club.

They should start a ‘but... but... we spent loads of money!’ league with Wednesday, where every team must have at least one player who cost £10m+ and everyone finishes in the bottom half.

Trevor Francis another reason to dislike them. Didn't they sign a couple of Argentinian stars after we signed Sabella but it never worked out? Apart from that League Cup win they have always been in Villa's shadow. Maybe that explains their bitter fans. Still looking forward to my first visit to St Andrews. Should be a lively one. We can beat them. They are under more pressure. If we win that will be curtains for them. Apparently it is going to be a sell out I saw on one of their forums.

Birmingham is just what depression looks like in physical form, a shithole of gargantuan proportions, the punchline to an unfunny joke.
Second biggest city and they can't even muster a fanbase bigger than Boltons. Of course, their individual fanbase is the largest I've ever seen because their fans are predominantly fat cunts.
And that's before I even mention that godawful dialect, with it's whole 'I've recently had a stroke' vibe.

They look shit, sound shit, their team's shit and I would enjoy sending them closer to relegation even if we had nothing to play for.

Not overly keen.

Quality rant. Love it.

Reminiscent of some one who used to post on here.

You’d probably have hated him. :)
