So then, with last night's Q&A session mostly up for you to read through and Strafford's way of leading his troops all too evident in dark corners of the interweb, so would you rather have as your chairman?

Haha!

I can't stop laughing to answer!

:D:D:D

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha.................

WAIT.... your serious?

Well I think McCabe is like totally bodacious and the Strafford is like totally bogus dude.
(AIR GUITAR)

SCHWIIIIIIIIING!

(And there's nothing wrong with air guitars, by the way. It's just a little unnerving when people see me doing 'air drums' and presume I'm having an epileptic fit.)

The worst thing about that tool at S6 is that he talks to his management staff in the same manner, he actually calls them dude, nob.

Listening to the whole evening again, it's brought home exactly how well McCabe comes across.

He's robust in defence of himself and of his club but not to the point where he won't admit that there are areas that all parts of the club, playing staff and not, could do better in.

He's passionate about his own support without being unprofessional and he has a very decent manner of dealing with people, without trying to blow smoke up their arse in any way. He also had a bit of a laugh last night, especially when faced with the one bloke who was blatantly out to cause trouble... he managed to twist that situation very well to the extent that a crowd, who were asking difficult questions, sided with McCabe.

After the Fan forum I wrote to Kevin Mc and have to say I was delighted to recieve a reply, and an invite for a beer. Given it's a long trip from Winnipeg it could be an expensive beer. But it was Kevin and not a press agent, for me quite amazing for a major organization. He is who he is, a quite genuine guy.

I also have the biggest respect for mr McCabe. As a life long blade and season ticket holder, i had an issue with mr warnock signing 4 ex pigs , for one season, i refused to go to the lane, met the lads for pre match drinks etc, but if more than one ex pig was in the eleven i refused to go to the game, childish but true, i just hate every thing wednesday.
On 2 occasions Mr McCabe called me at home, 2x 40 mins call, a true gent , he could not change my mind, and then proposed to get "Neil" to call me!! i then made it clear Neil was the problem ! HE SIGNED EM !!
I still have issues with ex pigs playing in the red and white, players we once jeered i find it impossible to now cheer .

Actually, between Bradshaw and Geary in that list (inclusive), I liked them all ..... when they saw the light, and they did better at the Lane than at Hellsbore!

Do we count the ones that went the other way?

Stainrod?
Varadi?

I was a school with Stan the man, we used to sit together in some lessons. Last time I met him he was at QPR and we met in a pub in Kingston. He was a fantastic footballer at school, by far the best at Ecclesfield school.
