He looked out of sorts. They all did. Hate using it but they all looked tired after giving so much against Cardiff. But the games aren’t coming any easier so let’s see! Glad to see Duffy back. Makes a HUGE difference.

Agree with the comment about the game perfectly suited Brooks after Duffy came on.

I think today we saw the reason he doesn't start many games

Hard to argue with that. On Monday he caused Cardiff all sorts of problems without doing a right lot or playing particularly well. On Saturday his decision making was atrocious and he just looked like he didn't fancy it.

I think today we saw the reason he doesn't start many games
Or we saw the effect of two months out with glandular fever.

He doesn't start many games because he hasn't been fit to start many games. Lets not turn Brooks into the latest Lundstram eh?

But he has got school boy looks, does that not help him at all??

I wasn't thank you.

Brooks is a fantastic "young" "prospect" . I think on Saturday we saw why he doesn't start every game... because he's "young" and not quite there to command a place of his own week in, week out.

You can see he still isn't at 100% fitness or sharpness, but you can see why he is in the side. Drops deep for the ball and brings others in to play, and that touch of class for the 2nd goal.

why do we go to the lane to see us scrape a win when we could have been at QPR watching Wednesday first teamers returning and teaching this league a lesson
Because us scraping a win still provides a better game of football than QPR thrashing Wednesday?

Put the lad on his arse, looked up, saw his Welsh compatriot and Evans did the rest. He's on his way back tol Brooksy lad.

Fantastic performance tonight from him. Faded as the game went on but every time he got the ball he was a threat. Good movement, good feet, and the all important thing for players like him: end product. Great stuff for that second goal.
