Pleasantly surprised by those comments - was expecting the usual 'fully deserved' shite that we'd get from 70% of teams in this league

“We have just got a vital point by never giving up, even when not playing well. That is the sign of a very good team who dont deserve critiscism at this point, just support to get over the line. How we play is irrelevant.”

Yeah. Good luck in the Premier with that.

“If we can clinch promotion then maybe Neil should consider giving the Blades a call and see how much they want for Brooks!”

Why would he want to be involved in a relegation scrap? And 'Neil' won't see the end of next season.

Thanks Roy :)
Thought we were by far the better footballing side tonight. Cardiff are a typical Warnock / Blackwell side horrible to watch. Glad we don’t have to suffer that sort of dross now with Wilder at the helm.
We just lacked a bit of luck / quality in front of goal
Win at Barnsley on Saturday and we are right back in the mix

They aren’t Impressed with the Desso then?

I was surprised to see how much it churned up as well.

Thanks for that Roy.

Blaming the pitch? I think we played on the same pitch and totally 'outfotballed' them.

Loved the comment about Warnock been given a tactical lesson.

Cardiff were very agricultural. Not surprising really.

There's so much to admire and be optimistic about with our club at present. The quality of football that we play consistently since Wilder joined us is better than any of the stuff we saw under Warnock.

Another match where we are gutted at only drawing against second in the league and their celebrations at the end shows what a bright future we have.

What were Warnock's tactics ? Second best 1st half so 2nd half brings on Madine hoofs it in his direction in the hope something falls for them and so it did last feckin minute as usual. Had some great times when he managed at the lane but he was shown up for what he is, just a motivator who will never do it in the Premiership. If Cardiff do go up which looks likely their most important signing will be a new manager.

You know when Gary Madine is worth 6million the world has truly gone mad. Warnick is just an effective dinasour. The football or lack of it is very predictable but effective.

His purchase of Madine is very similar to Akinbadbuy at the Blades. A big lump up front to bulldoze them over the line.

Thanks Roygbiv some reasonable comments there. I loved the pitch comments and "if we had been at our best" . I thought we didn't let them play and then showed them how to do football.

Still gutted though.

Oh and Warnock is a twat. Blade my arse, the only thing he is a fan of is himself.

Cheers Roy. Fair comments on the whole. They'll never get brooksy as he's destined for bigger and better things with us. UTB

Strangely reasonable comments from Cardiff both pre and post match. Funny that the teams with the supposedly 'mentalist' fans have actually given some of the more reasonable comments. I think I enjoyed reading the Millwall one too with the guy who had lived in Sheffield and did an amusing parody of us.

They were poor throughout, and having seen them 3 or 4 times this season it was by far the poorest performance of theirs that I’ve seen. I think to label that as typical of this Cardiff team would be like someone going to see us at Hull and thinking that was typical of the way Wilder set us up.

Tactically they looked to lump it 2nd half when Madine was on. I’d say he’s in that squad as a £6m Wayne Allison. I’d rather have Wayne Allison...

Surprised about some of the comments on the pitch. At this stage of the season and all the rain/snow we had yesterday it may have been a bit soggy but I thought it held up well. The ball ran true and it was probably in better nick than 95% of the grounds in the country on that day.

Decent comments, surprised they thought Brooks played so well, his movement is certainly very good but didn't think he was great on the ball last night. Clarke does seem to play well with him though.

They want to be thankful it was a Desso! Had it not been it would have just been called off and it would have been re-arranged.

They're going to need so serious investment in that squad to survive next season but I am still very jealous that they're going up and our season hangs in the balance.

Teams only play as well as the opposition let them. Cardiff were average because we were a class above. They will struggle in the Prem especially if they keep Warnock.

I wonder how many times Warnock has been given “tactical masterclasses” during his countless promotions with teams punching well above their weight?

How about a 'View from Fulham and Wolves' for last night. Bet they couldnt believe Cardiff got a point.

One comment identified the lack of clinical finishing, something we're well aware of.

Ched Evans was bought to supply this, and injury not withstanding, whether he'll ever regain the form of his final season with us is currently doubtful. So come the summer the priority has to be a forward with the necessary quality and technical skill to convert the numerous chances we're creating but not (currently) capable of converting. Donaldson, for all his efforts, appears bereft of whatever it takes to be the player we need. And to make a fairly obvious point, to acquire a player of this quality will cost.....a lot.

I don't think the narcissistic twat could support or be a fan of any team. He will always be a fan of his greedy self too much. Wlider's ambition is to do well in football even better if it is with us. Warnock just wants more money and total power, hence his comments about not wanting to manage in the Prem as he would have less influence over the team..

Thanks Roy.

Before the match I would have been happy to take a point, but I'm gutted , feel robbed, hope Fulham get second spot cause if we do make the play off's I'd fancy our chances against Cardiff on tonight's performance.

UTBFTP
On that performance I'd fancy our chances against Fulham (or anyone else in the play-offs)

How about a 'View from Fulham and Wolves' for last night. Bet they couldnt believe Cardiff got a point.

Wolves forum were predicting a last minute goal from Cardiff well before they scored it. We got credit for trying to play football but the comment " Sheffield United are were they are because of their wastefulness in front of goal " just about sums us up adequately. Wolves wanted us to win Bristol City by comparison were jubilant Cardiff had equalised but felt sick at the same time for celebrating their rivals scoring.
