Don't want to be worry people but there is a real chance we may see another game go. Just woke up in S8 and shocked to see how much snow we have had and still coming down fairly heavy. Already a few inches up here. It was meant to be only sleet this morning but had a fair dumping of snow already and the heavy snow is forecast around lunch time. 5 hours of it snowing just like it is at the moment and I think we may be rearranging another game sadly.

There is already a lot more than we had when we played Forest but less (at this stage) than for the Burton game.

It being on Sky will surely see them make more of an effort but if this carries on then the council may step in again.

Sky overrule the council, police and Mother Nature.

Very true. We’ll see how this continues because my end is white over and the sky is “full on it” (as my old aunt would say). I’ve seen games called off for less but as it’s on sky a proper attempt will be made to get it on. I don’t know if I can make it tonight as our lass is working till 7 and I don’t know if I can get a sitter. If the weather is bad I don’t think I’ll chance it

Predicted to turn to rain this afternoon so fingers crossed it goes ahead.

Not cold enough to be icey. Wet enough later to wash away the snow.

Few games will go for waterlogged pitches. But not ours.

It's Pissing down with rain now.
Everything resembles a slush puppie outside.

By the time we kick off the temperatures will be almost in double figures, no way will this match be off.

The speed that it’s melting and raining now, the snow will have all gone by mid afternoon. I think the only doubt is if the pitch can take the volume of water dumped on it, but they’ll make an early decision on that I’m sure. My guess is that it’ll definitely be on.

Thawing almost as fast as it landed in S35. From a selfish point of view, wouldnt mind it being off- got a stinking cold. But can see most roads being clear by mid afternoon.

There was a champ game other week on Sky called off due to weather. Villa was it?

It was Derby (who had lots of players missing) against Cardiff - even though the snow had melted - which Colin was not happy about.

I imagine if this one gets called off after the snow has cleared he might explode.

An S2 rain report is what's now required in case of waterlogged pitch. Bert and the Lincoln Blades plan to depart at 17.00 hrs BST.

Its the water logged pitch that worries me but we have a decent pitch so hopefully will be on.

Definite guesses are always the best ;)

Three matches off in League 1 now due to waterlogged pitches.

If the rain continues like it is now it will be doubtful I think.

We looked pretty good on a waterlogged pitch on Friday ;)

True . It was just that all important bit of the pitch we struggled on, that bit in front of the net .

Call the fucker off now or it'll be nil 5 to them :(

Somebody tell him the games off as he gets off the bus

Forecast for this afternoon is rain and temperatures rising to 9c. So it will be absolutely fine, no problem, definitely on.
