in terms of clear cut chances we had, the stage of the season we are at, definitely 2 points dropped. But a magnificent away performance against a very solid top 10 team.

The sending off episode was hilarious up to the point he pushed him in the face !

Another game we should have won!!. WTF was the Brentford guy doing trying to give Blackman a cuddle?. Totally understandable why Blackman reacted!. Utb

Brilliant cross from Fleck to set Sharp up with that slide-in that went unluckily wrong, the chances of the keeper ending up with the ball were minute.

I remember Fleck providing so many of those arcing low crosses from the left. Sharp knows exactly where they are going.

Why not play Fleck at left wing-back for the rest of the season? We have plenty of options in the central midfield area and Stevens definitely needs a rest. Of course we'd miss Fleck in the centre but could play Duffy or Holmes or Brooks with Lundstram and Evans behind , with Leonard as cover, or any permutation of the latter three.

Fleck is an intelligent player who could pick good passes forward from out there and do the defensive duties easily.

Why the hell would you put your best player at left wing back??!

Just no.

Because we need something different and it allows us to play Duffy/Holmes or Brooks as well as keeping the midfield solid. We are devoid of telling crosses from both flanks apart from Duffy occasionally.

Just an idea, that's all. You got any?;)

P.S. I also happen to think the wing-back roles are amongst the most important in 3-5-2.

More highlights:

Reading the comments on here reporting from the game you’d have been forgiven for thinking the Sharp and Donaldson chances not taken were absolute sitters, but based on those highlights I think both players did well in the first instances to get into the initial positions to score – Sharp with a slide, Donaldson with his footwork to get clear (and into an angle that meant there wasn’t a lot to aim at). Also not convinced that had Blackman stayed on his line he’d have saved the eventual shot, which seemed to come through a few bodies into the corner.

Lovely footwork by Fleck throughout those highlights.

Yes you either play 1 up top and 2 behind or 4-2-3-1.

Just the idea of moving our most influential player from the most influential part of any football pitch seems bizarre.

Thanks. I've just started a new thread, maybe you can get it off to a good start.
