For fans of a club who hate being considered small time, there is plenty of evidence there that that is exactly what they are. Oh well, how sad etc.

“Sharp and/or O’Connell to react to some stick from Voice”
Please don't tell me 'Voice' is the name they've given to an organised vocal group....
That's pretty sad really, i'd like to be able to give Brentford fans some credit for turning their backs on the big London teams and supporting their local boys but they somehow come across as a sad bunch of small-town losers mixed up with the general arrogance and enhanced sense of entitlement that seems to be endemic in the London and South east based teams these days. Sorry boys (and girls), you might have been founded in 1889 and you might play in a proper kit but the reality is most people are still more likely to reference your overpriced slice of boring London suburb by a defunct Nylon company rather than by its football team.
TBF Fulham are in my opinionWe’ve been praised from some unlikely very sources this season (Leeds, Forest and Derby etc). But poxy little London clubs like Brentford, QPR and Fulham seem to think they’re on another level to us.
They are ahead of themselves but maybe that's because of the way we were bigging them up before the home leg.
Anyway, what's bugging me is the make of the yellow car in the pic, it's a beaut!
Pontiac Firebird ?Late 70's Jag? (XJS?), almost looks like a Jensen Interceptor as well, iirc

If the Brentford mod who comes on here would like to point me towards some more 'kinder' comments then please do because I simply couldn't find any.

Yes the team are. But the smaller the club the more disingenuous they seem to be..... Or is just the London thing.TBF Fulham are in my opinion
A bit of a London thing I think mate. I work with someone from Kent who described Potters Bar as in the north! Strictly speaking from their perspective true but pretty much says it all in my opinion.Yes the team are. But the smaller the club the more disingenuous they seem to be..... Or is just the London thing.
Go to beesotted.com and listen to their podcast which contains a much more measured and thoughtful view of sensible Bees fans' opinion of Sheffield United.
We admire you for your positivity, determination to attack and for making the most of your resources. All the Blades I have met have been great - friendly, passionate about their team and gracious to the opposition too.
Funny you should mention the nylon thing, I was out drinking last night with a mate who is a Watford fan, we got talking about today's game and he was telling me how whenever Watford played Brentford the Watford fans used to ironically chant "Come on you Nylons!" - they didn't like it one bit.
