3 places and 4 points below us but they seem to be in a more positive frame of mind than a lot of Blades! Take note, we have 3 games on the spin where 9 points is more than realistic. Let's just go for it, 100% on the pitch and in the stands every game and see where we end up.

some of our fans didn't rate him - hope he doesn't come back to haunt us by having a stormer.

I think thats possibly because they are coming from quite a way behind the leading field, whereas it might be argued we look like we could possibly go a bit the other way if we don't pick up? So given that, I can quite understand their positive state of mind.

Don’t worry he’ll score two own goals and mess up his keeper
 
I think Ipswich suit CCV much better than us. I doubt he will be expected to bring the ball out or try to overlap like he was at United. They are much more direct then we are which would suit his game

Don't agree with the last comment, nothing about his game suggested he'd be suited to a direct game more than any other. His parent club play passing, flowing football, as do we, he always looked to pass the ball.

On the Championship Manager 01/02 database, Taricco was down as being a player that Sheffield United fans dislike.

Does anyone know why in particular? I can't just be something as general as is mentioned above.

Was he? Reminded me of a young Claude "Bombscare" Davies.....and his miserable attempt at a back-pass v Fulham (on a night that he was ripped a new one and subbed at half-time) and woeful distribution did nothing to change my mind, although credit for a few solid performances.....attitude wise I seem to remember the inference when he left that he was a bit of a mardy arse.....

It really is sink or swim time for us these next 3 games. Need to take maximum points I would say as a minimum
 
Tarrrico was the person I had issues with, never had a problem with Ipswich. One of my earliest football memeories is watching them win the FA cup final.

Proper club unlike Norwich.

Sure that in a league game at the Lane he should have walked but the ref bottled it. Continued being a dirty ### all game.
Blades fans would have lynched him if possible. Some Blade on here will remember a lot better. A nasty piece of goods.
 



We might have a chance seeing as Ipswich are just a "mid table Championship side" and not a "mid table Premier side"...............know worra mean.
