Five questions The Prince needs to answer

What about what division we are now in and our current position?
we are like any other club , this is our first season back getting in more tv money and bigger gates , we have upped our outlay in wages and brought in new players , but its not the time to throw every penny we have at a push , it would have been a bit rash, If we do go up we get given a load of money but not in this division . Next season would be the season to speculate, we will have more championship experienced players in the squad

are you sure why has he upped ticket prices to pay the players wages
how much has he invested into the ground apart from having his name put on the seats

Because he doesn't understand football, by his own admission, or Sheffield demographics and he's applied hard headed, business economics to an emotional industry. His lack of investment in infrastructure smacks of an owner who is not looking long term and who doesn't really care about the club or its fans beyond his own ambitions.

they spent nothing in january despite but hardly mentioned (cough cough) serious injuries
that may take them down
and replaced carlos with another nobody who has managed just 5 games in the 3 years prior to joining wednesday

think this 10 bob son of a wealthier man has had his allowance curtailed by someone wiser in the family hence very little spent this season

Because they are bumping their head on the FFP ceiling and now have a serious problem with players who are either not good enough, or couldn't give a flying one, on huge contracts that no other club will match.

Money alone doesn't fix things. It needs to be matched with being football savvy. Most important is having a top manager, which we've got.

so explain wolves ridiculous level of spend
I understand caution but the team had great need of bolstering and nothing at all was done
if I were a pig Id be very wary of whats happening , or more pertinently whats not happened
Jos Lahukey is the cheapest option available that would really have pissed me off what clue will he have of a relegation dogfight in this highly competitive division

lets not forget when Milan bought wednesday 7 years ago he promised a massive ground upgrade within 4/5 years
its 2018 now and apart from a a tarpaulin and several tins of paint its still the same old rust bucket
Daiphon has only invested in self promotion

owls fans mocked the llack of progress 3 years ago

Wolves have spent a lot of money but they haven’t actually lost anywhere near the amount needed to go over the FFP over a 3 year period. I think it’s something like that anyway?

You are right, there are no guarantees regarding future ownership.

That doesn't mean it's not right to challenge and raise questions concerning, arguably, the most important issue facing our club. I've been around long enough to see what happens under the wrong ownership so I'd strongly argue against complacency with this one.

Re your Chansiri comment: he has got serious wealth and has invested 'massively' into his project - up to FFP limits, apparently. I wouldn't "rather have" him because my preference is for an ownership structure that keeps the club close to its fans, but failing that then, yes, I'd go for someone prepared to commit serious money. It is not at all clear how much The Prince is worth or would be prepared to commit - hence my questions.

As for The Blades not really affecting my life: I often wish you were right on that one.
Why would you argue against complacency? You appear to be suggesting that we have it in our power to stop the process. Whether I'm complacent or in a state of panic, what do I or anyone else do about it?

6. Did you really have your bottom ribs removed so you could suck yourself off, or was that just an urban myth going round at Bradfield school in 1997?

Or is this about Abdullah?

Definite myth this one. It's well known it was Marilyn Manson who had this procedure done to cheer himself up after his acting career was washed up when The Wonder Years got cancelled....... or not.

to be fair, i was born in S2. Grew up at townend, and a blade since 1979, - but i would prefer to go to a super bowl over fucking Reading
If reading is the name of your girlfiend I feel sorry for her, show her some respect

which is why I put around , its never possible with football finances to put exact figures on anything as its shrouded in tax ploys ie charging rent by a subsiduary company and fees never listed in out and out columns

Exactly which fantasy world do you live in?

Because, as fans, we do have a voice and it is, sometimes listened to and can impact outcomes.

After taking profit on player registrations into account they made profits in 2015 and 2016.
2017 accounts aren't out yet.

Transfer fees per se aren't a profit and loss item.

I'm not sure that's the case in a situation like this. If it was possible to mobilise a large proportion of our support to tell the Prince he isn't wanted, he may think again, but he's more likely to engage in a campaign to convince the supporters he's going to take us forwards and I suspect the majority of the supporters would believe that. It's a massive step from asking a few questions on a message board to getting a large number of supporters to join a campaign against him, or McCabe, particularly when the team is doing well. Even Coventry have struggled to get their supporters to form a united front against SISU, despite all that's happened to them.

Your prince could turn you into a countries project like Qatar and PSG and UAE and Manchester City. . .

That Saudi lot are minted.

Now why would a Saudi prince invest in an English football club ? For philanthropic reasons ? or to make a profit ? Now he has put money in (though we don`t know how much) he will be wanting a payback. So if we have a chance of the play-offs and promotion it might be a good time to buy the club outright. If we get promotion he will not need to put money in, but will be able to take it out. If we don`t go up, he will possess the assets of the club as collateral for his financial input. He will also have a good manager and decent squad to have another go next season. Don`t let us misinterpret the motivation of a successful businessman or the realities of life in the world of football. A wealthy true fan as owner is one thing; An owner who comes from outside the fan base is quite another.

We do know how much he's put in. Up until 30/06/2017 anyway. And £17m of that he can't just take out as it's in shares, not loans.

theres nothing definitive on transfer fees especially undisclosed ones, no point them being undisclosed if 4 months later they are laid out
vagueness is one of footballs prime objectives

You do know that transfer fees aren't profit and loss items don't you? And that Wolves made profits inn15 and 16? thus negating your point about them.

Cheers!

What do you mean regards the transfer fees not being a profit or loss making item? I thought it counted towards FFP?
