I appreciate that Wilson has not been here long, however, I am struggling to see what he is bringing so far. He has a bit of pace but is by no means Shelton speed. He seems to carry an almost disinterested look at times. Clarke has been well off the boil for a while. What confuses me is Donaldson has put in impressive performances of late, but remains benched. As for Sharp, he is not even getting sub appearances. What are peoples thoughts? Who should be starting v Leeds?

Well if he doesn't start we have to pay a bigger slice of his wages so I'm guessing he will start against Leeds. :(

Don't get why Don doesn't replace Clarke more. Leon is a bit out of form and Don is a similar player for us, Wilson I can see something in him, he obviously doesn't really give a shit about us, career Man U player, would be happy on their bench as long as he plays for Man U, but he has skill and will score goals if given the service.

For Leeds I'd put Billy or Wilson on from the start, preferably Billy because I think we need our captain, with someone just behind tasked with getting it to him, if Brooks is back (Wilder said he'd be back for tonight so who knows) that'd be great, maybe give Leon another chance with Brooks but tell him to stay available in the middle instead of being out wide.

We have 3 creative players in Duffy Brookes and the Charlton fella .play 2 of them and the service to the forwards will get better and the goals will come. Simple

I wondered about that, but I heard Wilder go public a while ago now saying he would never agree to taking a player on loan linked to appearances - and that they'd need to earn the right to play in our team. So, has he gone back on his word or is this bullshit? And if it's bullshit, why the hell is he picking him?

Yep it is. 100% right.

You’ve made 9 posts in nearly 3 years and most have them have been negative.

This post is not ‘100% right’ unless you’re calling Wilder a liar?

Ok. Pretty much all loans are structured in the same way. I'm guessing that the CCV loan was similar but I don't know. Maybe had something to do with why he went back?

I want to tell you about my brother's dog. It was a Red Setter. He paid a fortune for it - it had come from a long line of Crufts winners. It was a nice dog. But stupid as stupid can be. But worse than that, it went through weird cycles of health. At its peak it would have been worthy of walking off with first prize for best in class at Crufts - like some of its forefathers. But it also went into cycles of really poor health, when its hair fell out, it lost weight and looked nothing like the dog from a few weeks ago. No Vet ever found a cause or explanation for it. One minute it was on top, world-beating form, the next, it was down in the dumps.

Leon Clarke reminds me of that dog. Not that he resembles it for one moment. Leon doesn't have a wet nose for a start - or wag his tail in public (as far as I know). But Leon also has this polarity of form. One moment absolutely brilliant, the next...meh?

The bottom line is, we don't have a quality forward line, no seriously, we don't. Let's not pretend that we do. They are all mostly too old or have other issues.

Fix that and you are on the way to fixing the team.

Although it was a tame shot,i liked the way he stepped aside 2 players to get a shot away in the first half...one touch to get the space and shoots...easy save for the keeper, but another day he slots it in the corner...i think there's more to come from the lad...give him a bit more time...no service today.

3 old guys who are inconsistent , a crock who spent his prime years in prison & some lightweight kid whose fitness we are testing for Manure by playing him every game.

That'll take some fixing.

Agree. I can't see what Wilson brings.
Seen him 3 times now and not impressed at all.
First touch is shocking.
Doesn't talk.
Plays for his sen
Does the bare minimum to look busy without closing down.
Gives the ball away cheaply as he tries to do too much.
He just does not deserve a shirt ahead of Billy or Don
