Shut up muppet ! Some of the others have been avoidable but not that !!!
As ever UTB
Shut up you prick. Evans was watching him for a while before thinking ‘shit should probably get out here’ then it was too late.

It is becoming a bit all too regular.
Been a bit too regular for weeks and weeks mate.

I can’t fathom why we aren’t learning from it.

Watching for a while ????? It came to Neves from a tackle , he took one touch and hit it !!!! Still , suits your agenda!
As ever UTB !
My agenda? Oh yeah - the same agenda which I absolutely praised Evans to high heavens on Tuesday. that same one.

Brain dead.

Wtf are u on about it was the best strike we have conceded this season not a lot u can do about that even defenders worth 50million
Players worth that money will do that to you if you give them the time to shoot.

I think there should be a feature on this forum whereby you put your post but it makes you wait 10 minutes to submit and asks you if you still feel that way haha! Seeing the goal I was initially pissed and reacted in front of the TV thinking 'another worldy' but if you watch it back, there was NOTHING we could have done about that. Sometimes as a fan you need to think, well, it's football and these things happen. There is no perfect world where we close everything down.

We didn’t give him time to shoot , it broke to him from a tackle , he took one touch and hit it , and yes you constantly point out the obvious re the amount of long range shots we concede , which I agree is way to many but fuck me that was unstoppable and you posted before we kicked off again !! You telling me that was a spur of the moment thing ??? Ha ha ! Clown !
As ever UTB !!

What the fuck do we do in training?

Why are we not learning? It’s every fucking week.

It’s beyond a fucking joke.

As frustrating as it is to concede two very similar goals in consecutive weeks I think a bit of credit has to go to both goal scorers.
Evans could have done better, but I think the two long range efforts we've conceded were more coincidental* than our own doing.

*I say coincidental, but it's no coincidence that Snodgrass and Neves are two of the most valuable, technically gifted players in the league.

Now that what they’ve just scored you can’t stop. Unbelievable.

The shots from outside the box you can stop every time. It’s about pressing and getting out.

They are incredibly gifted technically. There’s no doubt about that.

Snodgrass was shown inside on Tuesday which was the reason he scored.
That for me today is probably the best we’ve conceded yet but for me still avoidable.

I’ve watched it back again and again in replays. Evans points at Baldock as if for him to go for Neves but Jota makes a run which holds him back. Then Evans realised and got out but he’d basically already shot.

If he’d followed the tackle out and left Cavaleiro to Basham we wouldn’t have conceded that goal.

We gave a 15 million pound player just enough time to set himself and put it on the top corner. It’s as simple as that.

Does a better keeper save that second one? Nitpicking I guess but I can’t help but think one would.

So you’re saying no-one should ever score from outside the box?
Are you real?
Obviously not ‘every’. But the amount that we concede? It’s a bit too common to just be a coincidence.

No way mate. Unbelievable strike. But I stand by we could’ve got out quicker. I’ve watched it back plenty of times and our reactions after the tackle were slow and you can’t afford that against a side like this.

Second goal

Second goal
Oh, yeah fair enough. That second you can say the keeper maybe could have done better but I think it’s harsh. Not many in this league would save that from such close range.

Sorry - it was your use of the word ‘every’ that confused me......
Too many from outside the box I agree - but Wolves quality tonight is the issue we have alongside a distinctly threat free attacking force from us. Unlike Wolves who are shit-hot!

I completely understand what youre saying, and I did admit that Evans could have done better.

My point is though, he's the sort of player that had we forced him outside he could have worked it from there or alternatively hand it off to someone equally dangerous: sometimes you blame yourselves and sometimes you admit that you've been bested by superior opposition.

Obviously I was being over the top saying every. But I thought that mug was obvious :)

One or two a season I can take but the sheer amount we have conceded this season is a joke and we aren’t learning anything

You might disagree, watch that goal back and Evans and Baldock seem to be in two minds about who should be following up the tackle.

It might seem like milliseconds but against a side like this you literally cannot give them that time. You have to be completely switched on for 90 minutes and a small lapse has cost us.

Admittedly we’d have probably lost over the full 90 anyway this was a free hit. It’s just very very frustrating to concede another one like that.

If we do that and he works it out somewhere to a spare man and a goal comes from that fair enough.

And I agree we have to admit sometimes we’ve been just done by superior opposition.

I think a lot of people will agree to disagree on this but the first goal we could have at least made a bit harder for him.

The second? Outstanding. But you have got Basham diving in when he probably shouldn’t but it’s nit picking. Just an outstandingly well worked goal.

Credit to each and every strike we have conceded in such a manner. But after the first few we should be well switched on to giving anyone a view on goal anywhere near the edge of the box.

Yes they're good goals, but we haven't learned from our mistakes.
